Persona 5 Won't Be Out In North America Until February 2017

Don't have a vita.

And I have no interest in playing P3. Persona is a timesink. I'm not gonna play both. If they do both, then great!!

But all I want is golden.

That's understandable. Honestly I would way rather hear about a Catherine sequel than Either P3 definitive or a P4G rerelease, but that's just my own priority list.

P3>P4
:p

Isn't the PSTV like 30 bucks now? There's your P4G machine.
P4G is really a remaster of P4 anyway. So you're asking for a remaster of a remaster.

While I am disappointed with the late release date, this will give me plenty of time to beat P1 and P2. I also pre-ordered the premium edition, looks pretty nice.

Preordered the school bag edition. Kinda bummed we won't be getting it until February but there are a ton of games between then and now.

Don't enter persona threads.

they'll spoil it by having blatantly obvious thread titles. kind of like the uncharted 4 ones which more or less gave the ending away, or made you assume certain things.

We should just ban all P5 threads besides the japanese OT until the release

I wondered about something you said. "Well, that settles it." How, exactly, does that settle anything?

<3 P4

That's easy . i didn't pre-order my digital copy on the japanese psn , because i held the faint idea that atlus would upgrade his standards to those of the rest of the market ( held by every other publisher that localise japanese rpgs). They didn't.

No dual audio = I'm not going to bother supporting Atlus USA release.
As i can finish rpgs in japanese since years already , as a special case i'll just take some money to buy enough digital cards to buy the digital edition on the Jpn PSN and play the game. it'll be problematic since at that time i'll have to juggle between 2 big rpg + my work schedule. but i'll do it. I have no more reason to wait now that i know that atlus USA is still in the past.

Lol, ar4757 was just quoting a line from Persona 4. A really dumb line where Naoto uses the most inconsequential thing as a key point in the case.

Was it ? I don't remember this .Might be because i played P4 with a japanese dub.

Sorry i didn't get your reference. my apologises.

2016 and Atlus still can't fucking localize games at the same time.

Sure they can. Etrian Mystery Dungeon even came out in NA before Japan. And SMT4 came out only 2 months after Japan.

I'd wager that this is a strategic delay rather than because they can't manage a simultaneous job. Happens all the time with companies' larger releases.

They will also strategically delay Europe till late 2017 or even 2018. It's brilliant!

You can literally buy a PSTV and P4G for less than the cost of a new PS4 game. There is no excuse anymore.

Good news to P5. Most anticipated NeoGaf game 3 (now 4) years running. If my calculations are right and TLG releases this year, it will be NeoGaf's most anticipated game thus far. and it will most likely #1 given the rate of the past Top 10:
2014 (#8)
2015 (#6)
2016 (#2)

Not to get anyone's hopes up, since I don't think it's been specifically confirmed and I'm just speculating, but the PS Blog post's wording has me thinking we're definitely seeing localized footage next week, and possibly a lot of it.

It will soothe my broken heart.
* still happy I pre-ordered both the JP and NA collector's editions*

Are you thinking of a Devil Survivor game? This didn't happen.

I could've sworn it did. Still, it was only a month later. Trauma Team did however release in NA before Japan, and it had more voice acting than Persona 3.

The point is that they aren't incapable.

Bummed out to hear that this is still so far away, but I am glad to finally have a general time when this game will come out, assuming we don't get any delays.
