Has anyone here ever done a challenge run of P4(G)? I decided to spice things up a little on my NG++ by setting monsters to hard difficulty and allowing the AI to make decisions in fights.
I couldn't pull through 100% though because the AI doesn't know how to block so I had to switch to direct commands in certain boss situations well now I'm up to JanuaryFun stuff.after Adachi's dungeon and will see if the AI will block if faced with an opponent that repels everything.
Ai might actually be one of my favorite characters in a game (obviously everyone in the investigation team already is).
That whole thing was handled so so well in both the game and the anime.
Ai is one of those characters people don't usually stick with due to how jerkish she starts out as.
I really dislike Ai, but that's a great piece of art. The woman (I think it's a woman. My bad if I'm misremembering) who drew it has done lots of great Persona stuff.
Ai is tied for Nozomi for one of my least favorite social links ever. I just can't stand her personality at any point in the social link.
Actually, Persona 4 has a lot of minor social links I don't like. Ai, Margaret, and the Fox all come to mind. In Ai's case I don't like her character, and in Margaret and the Fox's cases I don't like the whole specific request feature.
She's quite good. I love that Rikku.
But that's not just the artist suffering, that's everybody suffering. The artist, the recipient, every unfortunate soul who happens to glance upon it, the server which hosts the image, PersonaGAF's reputation, the children.
Think of the children.
I'LL DO IT.
I thought Ai was really sympathetic in the end...

I liked Ai too. Also Ayane. (don't judge me)
Yep. I quite liked her character by the end of it.
...And ends as. She's not a particularly nice person.
Nope, but that doesn't mean she's not an interesting character
Chie is one of, if not, the most static characters in p4, truthfact

Where other character's S Links generally result in a realisation that they should be themselves in order to attain happiness and success, Ai's is that she needs to hold more respect for other people and their views. In light of everything that transpires before that, this seems vapid and redundant, and likely something she won't hold herself to follow.
Damn,;_;I won't be able to recruit Eriko as I already got that idiot of Hidehiko, I didn't know they were exclusive...
Oh well, I got my first Game Over, completely out of nowhere... It's an Atlus game alright.
Definitely liking the atmosphere and the very subtle cyberpunk undertones.
I'm getting used to exploring dungeons in first person, but the battle encounter rate is ridiculous.
The start button is a godsend, the battle slowness was about to drive me crazy...
Well, she also did discover that changing herself to fit her image of what a 'perfect girl' would be like also didn't work out too well either. That's something.

Chie is awesome, but I tend to like my characters flawed and changing over time. It's why I rank the P4 cast highly among the pantheon of characters as a whole, but the Persona 2 crew and Junpei and Yukari outclass them individually in my eyes.
Personally, I think it's a good idea to have someone that's kind of similar over the course of the story in a cast like this. Need the highest highs with the lowest lows.
Most of her issues amounted to jealousy of Yukiko anyway, which she gets over as it's not as dire of an issue as the others. Thething kind of comes out of nowhere at the end, so maybe some of the slink scenes could have built up to that(though she doescop).thwart some muggings
But yeah, I can understand the complaint, but if it's what they were going for, I think it's fine. I think pound for pound Junpei is probably one of the most complicated of either cast though, you just don't get much of it thrown in your face.

I thought the side-quest S.Links were pretty cool. It made the S.Links more than just "spend time with this person and give the correct dialogue choice". It was refreshing to have overall, imo, though the last fox quest is a pain (in golden) since you have to read the bug catching book for it.
Ai and Nozomi are meh but both come around. They're both Moon lol so is there a trend there?

Yeah.
Daisuke you suck bro.
Kou might love balls but he's also a stand-up dude
She's no Yumi.
Although Yumi is all about that...
...drama.
Yukiko's social link is one of the most relateable for me. Probably doesn't help that I'm a real life version of her, right down to the long hair and laughing fits.
I also noticed that Chie and Yukiko did some twin dragon move that I never saw before it was pretty awesome. How do I get them to keep doing it? Are there other moves like that?
Got my butt handed to me by death smh lol I kept hearing the chains and I forgot what that meant smh Anywho the third dungeon is long just got to Kenji's Shadow and pwned him had fun now gonna grind in the dungeon and level up.
