I FINALLY BEAT MARGARET ON VERY HARD.

I swapped out Helel's Reflect Wind with Angelic Grace at the last minute, by the way. Most of the battle was spent switching between Yoshitsune for buffs/debuffs and the occasional Hassou Tobi and Helel for the 500-damage Mind Charged-Morning Stars. Teddie was only hit like, four times and took very little damage due to his weapon when he did get murked, and Yosuke was out-damaging everyone with Garudynes every turn as well as using Youthful Wind for healing and buffs when Yukiko was busy delivering Mind Charged-Burning Petals.
It was a good day.

Definitely Normal. The game does a good job of sharing tutorials and ramping the difficulty up at a gradual rate, and you can easily undo moves if you mess up.

I'll take a listen to this after I get back from class a little later this morning, can't wait. Although I'm not sure how long it'll be before I even get around to playing SMT IV, mainly because getting a 2DS or 3DS isn't exactly in the cards for me in the near future as of right now, so chances are if there's spoilers I'd forget about them by the time I do get too play IV.

Way to go man. You're getting me hyped for the Margeret fight (i'm also on Very Hard, but I switched the EXP gain & Money gain to normal). I just need to get more ultimate weapons, Yosuke's wind item, max out Margeret's S.Link and i'm good to go.
Awesome costume choices, haha. I'm looking forward to pimping mine out in the near future.

Thanks, and good luck! Just remember that the +50% Wind item doesn't stack with both Boost and Amp, so get rid of Boost for another more useful skill. Oh, and be sure to beat all of the optional bosses before February if you want to unlock the fight. What's your full party going to be?
I've used the Cheer Squad costumes exclusively since I got them on my first playthrough. Chalk it up to my overwhelming love for the Ouendan series, but I think those costumes are amazing.

I'm just bidding my time until my party members get their "super" skill. I'm especially looking out for Dragon Hustle (up until then, I have to buff with the party's offense with Matarujaka from Yu...)

Unfortunately, I'm inclined to agree.
I thought Soejima's P3 Persona designs were good, but most of the P4 ones are bad. He's much better at designing characters and monsters.

P5, soejima on dudes, kaneko on mind monsters and enemy designs, BELIEVE
Devil Survivor guy on nothing.
Kaneko's wouldn't be a good fit for P4, to be fair. I think Soejima's Persona designs fit the game, I just don't particularly like some of them.
Soejima's are probably more thoughtful too. Like most of Kaneko's art, I think a large part of his designs are like that 'just cos' rather than having some justification, unlike Soejima's.
P3's persona for party member are cool until their evolution one which looks silly especially akihiko's. I dig what Junpei and Ken have though.
Same thing for P4 most of pre-evolution personas are look better. Izanagi and Sakuya probably the best design for Persona from Soejima. I hope we can choose which form the Persona looked in P5, that's make sense from what Persona about anyway.. they're not monster, so their form shouldn't fixed.

Also I attribute the kaneko persona designs due to having to make so many demon designs too, an that the persona design wasn't exactly 8deep15me it's SYMBOOOOOLLLLIIIIC at the time yet.
Would you play a p5 in which the devil survivor guy designed all the women and their breasts are all gravity defying and sentient like in DeSu 1 and 2, Dantis, WOULD YOU

I just watched the series finale of Dexter and I disavow that show ever existing. I had more fun yesterday marathoning Trinity Soul than I did with that pile of shit. I now to get to pass out for the night with that trainwreck in my brain.

Some of the ultimate Personas look great (like the ones you listed) but they don't compare to the Persona with the freaking Game of Death outfit, A badass skull man and a cute bomb with a cape.
Thematically, I do like ultimate ones a bit more (like you said in that podcast, Take Mikazuchi ==> Rokuten Maoh is significant one)

I do agree with The other two plus Yamato-Takeru, although Take-Mikazuchi's design represented Kanji a bit more than Rokuten-Maoh imo
When I first saw Yosuke's Susano-o I thought it was stupid looking and wasn't a worthy replacement for Jiraiya (who still has my favorite design in the game) but ol' jumpsuit-sawblade grew on me and I started liking his design more and more as the game went on (although I still don't like him as much as Jiraiya), I'm still conflicted about Takehaya Susano-o though; on one hand he has a sun Afro, on the other hand he has a sun Afro. :/
Ametarasu's design was always really boring to me, which is a Shame because it replaces the visually interesting Konohano Sakuya although it gets fixed by the immensely better Sumeo-Okami
I actually like Kamui-Moshiri better than Kamui just because it's a really fun design and although it still has half a missile hanging out of its butt it's face/body looks like the head of the missile which I thought was neat
I admittedly have never paid a lot of mind to the persona designs in terms of aesthetic appeal before. With the exception of Izanagi, Tomoe and Jiraiya I never thought much of the initial batch from 4. I liked nearly all of the evolved forms better aside from Kamui and Susano-O. Roughly the same pattern for the 3rd tier, though Haraedo no Okami became my second-favorite persona after Trismegistus. (I liked none of P3's other personae aside from Thanatos, Nemesis, and Juno.)
