Rough 20 min doodle:

Just pre-ordered the Arena art book. Amazon has its release down for 13th August. Anyone know if Udon books tend to get delayed much? Both art books I've pre-ordered in the past (Zelda and Borderlands) got several delays, different publishers though.

Love it.

Done any more of you Aigis picture?

Don't get too antsy about the eventual reveal. Relax. Go play something. Like maybe SMTIV, or one of the pre-P3 games on sale.

DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO.

Maybe P5 will just show up on store shelves one day. People will go to their EBGames or their Gamestops or their GAMEs and what have you, and there it'll be.

The twist is that we've been Persona 5 the whole time.

PersonaGAF is the game. Our Personas are our online personalities.

TurnipFritters is the antagonist.

I'm sure I've seen the above two posts before. Are we on new game+?

Persona 5 is actually a groundhog day scenario where instead of playing out an entire year's worth of social links, you actually just repeat the same day and have to change your responses until you're friends with everyone.

What tips can you guys provide for someone who just started persona 1 psp? Any suggested fusion or skills to learn? What is contact good for btw?

^Get a Persona with Estoma. Also you NEED to contact to be able to get new personas. You will want to make them interested (yellow) and NOT happy (green), interest is what makes them give you a spell card. you get two spell cards and fuse them like other persona games. If you want to break the game early, get the level 18-20 Personas Chariot Gozu-Tennoh and Judgement Phaleg.

Holy shit WANT.

Everything buddha said is right. If you want to blow the game open late, fuse personas with a scorched tablet. Nuclear does a LOT of damage(Megidolaon), there's a few that drop gems, but for 300k you can convert yen into coins at a casino and buy scorched tablets. You get money hand over fist late.

Also constantly check your equipment, as for the most part you only get new weapons off of random encounter drops. Guns and armor you buy.

Wow things escalate quickly in the last case of AA: Trials and Tribulations, don't they? Just hit the first investigation part, pure awesome.

Don't follow any S Link guides or anything.

Just try and enjoy yourself. It's a pretty mechanically simple game.

Your party will never heal proper, the AI is terrible so make sure your main character has the best healing spells available.

Thanks won't follow any guides and will make sure to heal the party with my mc. :)

Don't get used to any personas. Always be fusing!

Why? Is it better to always fuse instead of keeping persona? I mean if I found a persona that is good should I still fuse it?

Just bought P3 FES (PS2 Classic) on PSN.
My first Persona game. Any tips for a total persona noob?

Don't fear fusion. Your personae are mostly expendable.
Don't waste your time excessively grinding, as it's unnecessary.
Make sure you're never wasting a time period; There's always a social stat to level, or a social link to do.
Don't use a guide to try and max out social links on your first playthrough, just play it naturally.
Try to complete Elizabeth's requests to get the documents from each section of Tartarus. If you can complete those, you're ready for whatever the game throws at you.
And because it bears repeating, DON'T FEAR FUSION!!!! Fusion is your friend. The system is designed so you can't really make any unseen mistakes.

Personae are expendable. You can get them back just as easily as you throw them away. More than that, Personae are hard to level. They take 50% more XP per level than your protagonist does. You'll quickly find yourself getting left behind and unable to finish the game if you don't fuse. Plus fusion has the added benefit of allowing you to superpower them (through Social Links) and give them skills they wouldn't normally have (through inheritance.)

Thank you, I really appreciate all advice I can get. Are all Persona/SMT games designed around fusion? I watched a SMT 4 stream last night and that guy who streamed also fused some demons though I did not understand exactly why or when one should fuse demons/persona

Edit:

Almost all of them. One of the only games to not have it are Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2.
