It'd be nice to have those character graphics without the color outlines, though.
Also, it's weird, but Minus seems to reject any Rise graphic rip uploads I've tried uploading to the site.
Eyes are something I have a huge problem drawing(along with most other things) because I can never get them to convey the right emotions. All of them just end up looking crazy.

Once the game comes out in August, I'm sure it won't take long for folks to rip the graphics from the disc like they did with Arena...

Easy enough to to in Paint. Since the outlines are a single color, the magic wand tool does a perfect job.

I kinda wanna use the Shadow and/or normal Rise avatars but they're kinda terrifying. Also, I haven't used any other avi besides what I have on twitter and here. Gotta mull it over some more.

Yeah, just tried removing the traces with magic wand in Gimp for Shadow Naoto and it's pretty efficient, though there are still traces that need more precise modifications. Not the perfect solution, so we'll probably have to wait for the actual game's release for those kinds of rips.

It's better than Keppei Yamauchi screeching in your ear the whole time.
Rie Kugamia's Rise is about as bad.
The occasional grunt or "PERSONA" when you get a UAV.
Finally getting around to working on the Junpei subs. If any of you happen to know, could you confirm for me that Yuka-tan is the localized version of Yukaricchi as his nickname for her? A brief Google search seems to indicate that's the case, but some of the localization changes get minor enough that I just wanted to confirm here as well without having to whip out a Japanese copy of P3.

Searching "Yukaricchi" to try to compare the two just gives me a bunch of porn, so that's great. "Yuka-tan" was the only nickname I recall him giving her.
It's apparently PSC host Tomomi Isomura's birthday, which the Persona PR Twitter account posted about just now.

I believe that's correct. I didn't even know Yukaricchi was a thing until after I beat the game, so I'm sure it's Yuka-tan.
