The best part about this pic is how I thought the post below was the name of this cat at first. "Mr. Mittens" :lol :lol

I have to say, if this was my cat it would definately be named "Mr. Mittens" LOL :lol

Never have i met a more "talkative" cat. If i say something to her, she will meow and purr. I swear she knows english.

Not really my cat but I think it's funny anyways.

Bonus: Licking kitty with a chicken!

Ummm ... that's isn't a cat.

That looks like a Geoffrey's Cat or similar non-domesticated feline.

lol I saw this somewhere on the webs. Its like a cat and some mountain lion mixed or some shyt, I can't remember but its huge!

Likely a Geoffrey's Cat. I'd actually like to get one at some point.

They're super cute IMO

And as adults, look like a small leopard ... very distinguished! They don't get all that big by the way. Some have been found to be 18lbs, but they average less than 10.

Some other similar looking 'wild' cats that people own get a bit bigger, like Ocelot's for instance.

I went to my parents place this weekend and got to spend a lot of quality time with the puppy. He's so funny, he is a born performer. I'll add a couple more to this post once I'm home from work.

The lab is my dog Tuck, he's closing in on 12 years old (this picture was taken when he was younger) and the cat was named Sage (he was hit by a car about 7 years ago, my mother's to be exact :| ).

Some more pictures of Tuck

(Yes, he likes to lay by the fireplace, even when there isn't a fire, why, I have no friggen clue)

Tuck's a fantastic dog, he's easily the best dog I've ever had. It sucks that I don't get to see him much (he's in California, I'm in Montana) and don't think he doesn't let me know that (he gets pissed at me every time I come home. The first time after I left, he wouldn't let me get near him for close to a hour).

His name is Garfield. Love him! =D He was a stray cat and found him when he was only a kitten. Hes been my sidekick since then. He is always next to me whenever I am home. Always. If I change rooms, he follows, if I sleep on a different bed, he sleeps. He always finds comfort by sleeping on my chest every night. :D

My GF's gran's dog.

She's so beautiful; although I still love my cat. Still only a pup. I just wish I had a garden so I could bring her to live with me!

Wow, I'm glad I found this thread. Today I went through a major freak-out as my Dog fell over and went into this weird fit where her whole body shaking and then it seemed like she temporarily lost movement of her back legs and even went blind as she was walking into windows and other things.

Here is my dog dcalled Phantom, as a reference to Phantom of the opera (The half black, half white face I suppose)

I was so scared I was going to loose her. She's old now, about 14 years (Human) and now she's lost most if not all of her teeth barring two at the bottom and she's a lot more crankier, but do I love her.

Thankfully after 20 minutes she seemed to get her eye-sight back and movement into her legs.

hows your dog doing? sounds like a seizure :(

Thanks for asking man! Yeah you're right definitely was a seizure but thankfully she's doing a lot better and back to her 'normal' self. She's been running around (She has an odd habbit of trying to attack our clothes-line when we hang up washing :lol) and being her normal self which is good to know.

Hopefully she can hang on a bit longer.

I'm not a big fan of dogs... think they're too high maintenance. Even so.. if I was ever to get one... what would do it would be a welsh corgi.

Hell if I didn't have a cat, lived in a place that allowed dogs, and was offered a welsh corgi I'd be hard pressed to turn it down.

Sorry to hear about that. Seems to happen when dogs get older but it's still sad. Some have the ability to hang on forever though, even if they're not as active as before, hope this is the case with yours.

There are some great looking critters in this thread!

Here's some more of mine. They're all rehabbed rescue dogs by the way.

This is Pokey. She still keeps mostly to herself and has a sadface.

One of these is a greeting card. The other is Moose the sausage dog.

My Lab, Lily, has a hard enough time fighing off my German Shepherd, Grace, without a silly wiener dog taking a cheap shot!!

So many Cute Pets. Makes me want to keep my fathers dog but I don't think We have the patience :(

Picture109.jpg

I have 4 white skirt tetras and all of them have been artificially colored :(

But some good can come of this bad. They happen to be colored on their heads (almost like headbands) and they have the colors of the ninja turtles sooo Donatello, Michael Angelo, Raphael, Leonardo are my tetras, and My rainbow shark is shredder.

(You can only see Michael Angelo, Leonardo and Donatello in this pic and not good enough to see the headbands)

Plants are amazon swords :)

Here is my dog Buddy!

I took him from my mother (who was going to give him away) when he was 4 yrs old. Now he is 9.

I had two "Strawberry" Tetra's for over 5 years before they sadly passed away within 2 months of each other last October :( One of the hardiest fishes you will ever come across. R.I.P. Pinky and The Brain!

You should see my cat, Elvira. She chat's up a frickin' storm whenever she gets the chance. It's so cute to have a conversation with her.

So many awesome pets. I love all the cats, dogs and rats. Surprised to see so many rat owners. Its a really popular animal these days.

And with good reason. Rats are more clean and smart and fun to have than almost all other rodents I can think of. the tail is not cute, but its easy to get used too...

anyway, I just recently read an article about how people with animals live longer... apparently, their life essence and life energy... just their warmth and presence gives some kind of mental and physical boost to its owners. particularly dogs due to their unconditional love.. but also other animals that love their owners.

very cool.

this is the ideal thing. humans living in peace with the animals... I only have a plant. :/

My new kitten, she's tiny tiny! I haven't picked a name yet. It's a girl :)

Now half the time she sleeps on my lap and the other half she walks around exploring while squeeking all the time, so cute! :)

There are some nice pets in this thread. My family keeps picking out pretty standard looking cats. The first two even look the same (the black one was a stray when we found it).
