Decent weather has finally arrived, so I decided to take my pup Iggy to his 1st dog beach visit today. It's the happiest I've seen him in his short life thus far.

I'm naming him Rex after that Border Collie in the movie Babe.

I am happy and sad seeing all these happy, healthy dogs. I really miss mine (multiple organ failure) after I put her down a few months back. She was with us for 15 human years. The last few moments with her before she was put down was terrible ,sometimes I"m not sure whether she felt betrayed that I brought her to be put down.

She licked the tears off my face before she went. I'm sorry this was suppose to be a happy thread, I dunno what came over me to write this here.

Cute dog, but you may want to reconsider taking him at six weeks. dogs are supposed to end up in better shape if they stay with their mother for at least 8-9 weeks.
