crossfire x might be a chinese ip but remedy entertainment is making the single player. I think a lot of people missed that.

Eh it's not really much different to any other gen. Most launch games are always cross gen. Devs just don't have enough time or money to make next gen exclusives for the first year or 2.

PS4's launch line-up wasn't very well praised so I'm not sure your point is all that good. Personally I thought Killzone Shadow Fall was great but not many people share that feeling. Nobody cares for Knack. I certainly don't care for the anti-remake attitude, these are video games, not movies.
I mean, it looks less janky than any other Souls game to me, but I'm a fan.

Yeah I never played knack. Battlefield 4 and kill one were great. I think I even played a TR. Thinking about it though, you are right, the launch of last gen wasn't stellar and it took 6 or so months for it to get there.
I think this will be the first gen since I was a bairn where I may not be getting these consoles day 1.
Im tempted by the PlayStation plus collection though. I've missed out on PS exclusives the last three years so...
I might wait and see. There's life in my old X yet.

Three years of great exclusives is pretty sweet to be sure. To me every generation getting a console at launch is an investment that takes a bit to pay off, having that collection for PS+ really eases that problem.

Remake of a game in a genre that has been beaten to death in the last 2 gens.
Demon's Souls was special when it came out because it was the only one, even if it was jank as fuck. Now that the formula has been redone and perfected it loses that charm, if Bluepoint makes any changes they offend the old fans, if they don't they offend the new.
Yet this PS3 remaster is the next gen harbinger for why next gen doesn't suck?

What do you remember? I've talked about MCC in the Meta thread, when I was playing it with a friend. I was pretty positive on it, I also uploaded most of our play throughs to Youtube, you can hear my positive thoughts on the games if you want? Not sure what you're trying to say here.
