I don't even know what the PS4 launch games were then What i do know is they weren't remakes or lots of cross-gen (aside cod, battlefield etc)

I don't really see one or two cross gen games near launch as being them going back on their word. Especially when they are launching with Demon's Souls which look ridiculous and have shown several other games that are totally exclusive.

To me the issue isn't that they haven't shown that they don't believe in generations, It's that they acted like these two specific games weren't crossgen. That doesn't suddenly mean all the other next gen exclusives are lies, but it's just a shitty thing to do and now people could feel like "WHAT IF GOD OF WAR IS ACTUALLY CROSS GEN"

Still it's not like R&C, God of War, Demons souls which are coming by next year all just vanished.

The best AC! Resogun was FUN... Battlefield 4 was tits and I actually preferred the PS4 version to PC because it had actual matchmaking, I hate trying to cram into the only active servers on PC. Killzone Shadow Fall is a great game, too, way underrated. Dead Rising 3 was a little weak compared to the first two but it did some neat new things.

That AC was indeed the best my friend. Resogun was fun for short bursts of gaming but when you buy a new system you just want to have something that gets you glued to your screen checking out the graphics and all the improvements in performance and scope, I think I beat AC BF a good 3-4 times while I waited for new games. I think personally that's the magic about upgrading a console system, it happened back then from the Nes to the Snes and the Snes to N64/PS1 etc. Resogun and Warframe really didn't scratch that itch.

I'm aware we're in the territory of diminishing returns nowadays, but the launch of a new console should always be something special, it's one of those times that as an adult I can feel like a kid during Christmas all over again.

Either way, I think Demon's Soul and the Spiderman expansion will do a better job this gen as launch titles even though some people will be disappointed. Then again I'm also excited to play CrossFire X for the XSX on release date.

Demon's Souls coming to pc and other consoles was stated as nothing but an error, I suppose it could happen in 5 years or something. I don't really see any big deal of them not plastering "PS5 EXCLUSIVE" over the GoW teaser and it was later oficiall confirmed as one..

Also I wasn't saying Demon's Souls looks good compared to the original. I think it just look phenomenal compared to anything out right now. I get not being hype if you played the original but graphically it looks like a great example of next gen.

As they should, I don't believe they have ever made a multiplayer game tbh lol. Apparently the IP is big but I had never heard of it, I liked what I saw though.

I'm sure the multiplayer will be fine for a good bit fun every now and then, I don't take FPS games too seriously nor am I good enough to work out the quirks haha. At least that part is on gamepass.

That's more than fair of you but it seems pointless. They're literally calling Demon's Souls a port. I mean, what are the Series X launch games? Are any AAA? Are any not walking simulators? Crossfire X looks great but I've seen no intriguing gameplay from games like Medium or Scorn, just interesting aesthetics.

Definitely a timing mistake. They dont want to lose initial console sales. Additionally they will use the pc launch for a little pr. No shame there but thats how it will shake out.

I'm overly optimistic that all the games Xbox is giving me with 120 fps updates for free are better than your remakes you are about to pay 70.00 for.

The fact that they are charging 20.00 for a Spider-Man PS4 upgrade says about all you can expect from BC on your PS5.
