Don't you have grid cities in both?

I love the Amsterdam "grid". Best way to get lost while thinking you're heading in the right direction. ^^

The only thing missing is a huge spider in the middle.

Non-grid cities sure are less convenient, but they're so much prettier. The more maze-like, the better.

That Amsterdam map is pwetty.

Post-communist districts in Eastern Europe often look ridiculous too. Squiggly lines everywhere, for no reason whatsoever
