Sorry to burst your bubble, but most animated films use some kind of existing film as photo reference. ESPECIALLY fast turnover regular shows like Naruto. There are deadlines and you have to meet them somehow. Even if it isn't straight up tracing, they will often use it as a guideline. Sorry you don't understand animation as an industry.
