I think I've refunded more than 30, but a lot of them were VR games that did not or barely functioned. You think regular Steam is wild west, there's a lot of VR games that don't even comply to the stuff they're supposed to.
I've never refunded over 2 hours though. Has anyone ever been refused with <2 hours played?
Anyways, man I can't imagine refunding Crypt of the Necrodancer nor this game haha.
People care about winrate?

Last match as pretty great too, we basically killed everyone that dropped at the mansion.

Yeah, I was interested, I understood the upsides but I wasn't sure how I'd do. It feels like a much better game in first person. Pushing houses, pushing people behind cover, flanking, they are all good options and firefights don't devolve into shitty 3rd person peeking standoffs. I love FPP and I can't wait until they add it to squads as well.
That grenade was a thing of beauty.
Yeah, killing everyone in the mansion was great, we got great loot, sadly they spent all their ammo downing all of us at least once lol

I thought this was interesting. TotalBiscuit reviewed a similar mode during a Guild Wars 2 beta event about 5 years ago and listed out ways he would've done the mode instead, most of which translated directly into PUBG features. NostradamusBiscuit!

I hope they add a bind to allow simply holding for ADS, now with the FPP mode, the standard aiming mode is pretty pointless.

I had trouble connecting earlier. Had to keep retrying. When I did connect my player had no clothes on for several games. Also had a game where my frame rate dropped into the 20's for a while (usually I'm 75-100 or so). I think the servers are having issues.

Where do you think the value of gamecom crates will be about 6 months from now? There is 16k on sale now but they stop dropping in a week and have some battle royale gear I think people will always want. Kinda considering buying like ten crates and hoarding them long term.

I mean, Arma 2/DayZ battle royale was out in 2012, created by none other than playerunknown himself, so it's not like it's was a particularly new idea for the time.
You'd be surprised just how similar the proto-battlegrounds were to what we have today, it was just as intense back then.

Yeah. I'll keep an eye on the market and see where it goes before they stop dropping. May just drop like 30 bucks on them and see where it goes.
As with any sort of investment, no one knows for sure.
I gambled $10-20 on CSGO crates a year or two ago and they never ended up reaching the level I hoped they would. Some other stuff goes up to crazy levels in price.

One thing withthe crates is that you have to know tons of people will hold on to them. So it'll be a long game until they get to good prices. And of course the individual items might go for higher prices
Played my first game after two weeks of not playing and got a chicken dinner as the only surviving member of our 3 man squad. Lucky that I kept my shotty with choke, that thing is a beast in close quarters.
Edit: I have a couple thousand points left over, do I buy crates and sell them or do I open them? And if so, should I go straight for the key unlockable crate?

Since when the circle gets closed after a while once there is no more timer?
Yesterday I was on a 1v1 situation where I had advantage on the ground and all the sudden the circle started to close and got killed. No warning. FML.
Very frustrating to be honest, they couldn't let us know the circle would close completely in 5 secs or something like that? I felt killed by the game to be honest.

I had the idea in the early '00s when I was thirteen and watched Battle Royale for the first time and it's almost 1:1 with PUBG.

Very last circle that is size of a peanut comes after 3 minutes when timer seems to have stopped and it has 15 second countdown.
Then its my goddam fault, I was so in that I didn't even see the countdown apparently.
On the plus side, I love how the games are much faster now, that means I dont have to cautiously (boringly) play safe for 35 min until I get to be in the top 10. Love that change. This allows me to drop in a medium crowded area, loot, find a car and just chase a couple airdrops and by then there's about 15-20 people left and things start to get interesting.
Nah the very very very last circle where it shrinks down to absolute nothing doesn't have a countdown
Ah ok, then fuck that shit to be honest, makes you feel so cheesed. They should at least put out a big 5 sec warning or something like that. It totally got me killed when I was at a better position than my opponent.

I'm out of rounds with the shotgun, so I switch to the AKM.
The AKM has a full clip of 30 rounds.
I start shooting, miss the first round and hit with the second.
The weapon immediately switches to my handgun (I didn't do this)
The handgun tries to continue auto-firing like the AKM, but clicks as though it's empty. (despite having a full clip)

generally only happens when the last circle is over the bunkers i think?
