All I want is a FFXV bundle with a patch that fixes the game's awful image quality.

I want new hardware to focus on fixing issues like loading times, resolution, etc. The focus always seems to go into better graphics, but that just leads us to the same place we're already in, but prettier. FFXV looks good to me, but you're right, it could look better. I mostly forgive it due to the game's size/ambition (I try to be relative with this stuff).

For Neo, my hopes are for, yeah we'll get better looking games, but I really want some patch work done on previously existing titles. Bloodborne in 1080p without the chromatic aberration, Witcher 3 with snappy menus and less waiting between fast travel, things like that.

This is getting kinda ridiculous, how many conferences is Sony going to have this year? E3, TGS, Paris Games Weekly, PSX, and now Playstation Meeting?

I have the felling they wont do a PGW keynote this year, and TBH we dont know how big this thing in NY will be.

I expect something between their PSVR 15 min talk at GDC this year and a E3 Press Conference in terms of duration

Not really sure I get the NX comments. Nintendo would want to show their hand after Sony, I'd think. It'd be much worse for Nintendo's narrative if it was NX reveal first, then ultra powered PS4 to overshadow it.

As someone who doesnt have a 4k tv, will this likeky have any benefit for me? i would really like to be able to play games like witcher 3 or uncharted 4 at a steady 1080p 60. Or a decent looking version of ffxv. But im not yet in the market for a 4k telivision.

Yeah, XV specifically needs a resolution bump to a solid 1080p and a better AA solution and that'd be great.

I'm sure its just jokes man...Scorpio coming out a year later, everyone knows it will be more powerful, it's not a debate lol.

How much it will matter is, but that's neither here nor there. I'm just excited about new hardware. In the Sony camp this gen so unless Scorpio games come out looking like PS5 titles, I don't think anyone will move too much out of there preferred place to play this deep into Gen ummm 8? 9?

Same here man. And while I definitely don't think anyone is doomed, I do wonder how MS is going to fare when the Neo comes out. I mean, folks that don't have a PS4 or Xbox One yet will most likely go for a Neo but what about people with only a Xbox One now. Will the majority of them stick with Xbox One/S or will they go for Neo as well?

I also wonder if Sony is going to pull any surprises. It sure is something for them to surprise people. Perhaps a trade in program? Maybe a very good price?

Ah yes another meeting.

That was a crazy fun time.
Wow...what a thread...

Sony really killed the meeting, I'm biased of course, but I certainly felt going into the gen (even before the used game thing) that PS was going back on top. You could feel the change in the culture of Sony and how PS became a lot more important like overnight. Bleeding money for a decade will straighten you up I guess! lol.
