I think it will be an impressive upgrade to the PS4, but it will not be close in specs to the Scorpio. The Scorpio is likely releasing 12 months+ later and more expensive than the Neo.
But as the Scorpio specs will not be released until E3 2017 you might as well buy a Neo this year

How are they going to show off resolution difference s in an online stream. I don't know if this needs it's own conference. Say uncharted 4 runs at 60 fps now, will it really blow people away? Even if they add more aa, af and ao, i highly doubt people would notice a huge upgrade.

Well, it says "Playstation business" so maybe not. I'd figure the majority of time would be spent on Neo though. I think Sony will have something to make the regular PS4 still look good too.

What if the PS4 light strip now had full RGB led lighting.
It could show the % downloaded on your games while it's in sleep mode. And rainbow mode for parties.
