Klonoa is a great game i love it .
For those who want a sonic on the ps vita there is that súper frog hd. It is 1 dollar and its pretty fun for that price it is basically a sonic rippoff
Don't get me wrong is not a good sonic ripoff but for 1 dollar is OK.I got that a long time ago and it didn't feel like Sonic to me :l. But will give it a second look from your statement . Thank you for the heads up man .
It is repetitive , the translation is weird . but for me was totally worth it. It is really fun , looks awesome on the oled screen, runs great ,not every one's cup of tea tho. So I recommend to see a gameplay video to have an idea of what to expectKlonoa is great.
Also, is Croixleur Sigma any good, or should I wait for a sale?
Okay, that is a good point.
Just stick with series-focused coverage I guess . Thank you for the heads up Yasumi .
Looking forward to the Ratchet and Clank topics
So basically another dev lying to their fans ( if the reddit post is true) thanks to this if the game gets finally cancel It will be less of a bummer for meThis is from Reddit, but given the subject matter is so obscure I'm willing to believe the user is probably not lying (because who cares?): Apparently Pier Solar's Vita port has been cancelled because Sony doesn't have enough dev kits to support small developers. That sounds pretty grim, except there's one huge problem with that excuse.
I've also spoken to some independent Vita developers who've said they've heard nothing to support the claim that Sony is ditching small developers. The recent rash of Steam Greenlight-tier shovelware on PSN attests to that.

IDK about Sony , but in my personal opinion we shouldn't applaud sony for not killing the vita as they were the ones shooting to kill the little console all this time. But we have to recognize there are some passionate employees like for example gio corsi , that might help the device in its last years of life.
From my subjective point of view , The vita is not only alive but i can see the list of games to come growing and my backlog transforming into this infinite beast.
My memory card FINALLY came from SuperUFO. Practically five weeks to the day.

Not sure if many people on the Vita front want to see this, but listings for the PS4 retail edition of the OlliOlli pack have started to appear. There are no surprise listings for any Vita version of this, as expected by last week's announcement.
In July'15 there was a change on the ownership of Watermelon. One of the founders, Tulio, left the company and made Fonzie, another person working there, the sole owner of the company. I don't know if the decision of cancelling the Vita port was taken after or before this change, but if it's after I do believe that this had some impact on the cancellation.
Regardless of that, the person answering the emails is trying to pass the blame onto Sony, something they should know that is both quite harmful for their PR and for their relationship with Sony.
EDIT: It seems the one replying to the emails is that Fonzie guy (unless there are two Fonzies (?) working there), as proven by a computer screenshot of that reddit user. If he is the real owner of the company, we should really had to question why is trying to blame Sony, when it clearly it seems it is his fault and his decision.
If I were you I would start from the shortest lenght games. Being probably bastion the shortest and megaman x4 then I would switch to megaman legends . sword art and finally AR no surgeWe are having a flash sale ? Cool, hope they have some awesome 1$ deals like last year. Got at least 20 games during that XD.
Edit: I have a ton of Vita games to play again but kinda lost at which one to start again :l. Any suggestions would be welcome .
-Ar No Surge Plus
-Mega Man X4
-Sword Art Online Lost Song
-Bastion
-Mega Man Legends
Any of these would be fun to play but wondering what you guys would like me to start again first.
Edit 2: I just thought of this, so wondering what your guys thoughts on this idea would be; a Vita Retrospective. It would cover a long list of games (20-30 games) and it would be a mix of Sony, Third Party and Indie titles. It would be similar to my Sonic Retrospective Series I'm currently making and I would start this alongside the Ratchet & Clank Retrospective I want to make around the launch of the PS4 Game/Movie.
If you guys think this is a good idea or not, feel free to let me know !

So, the culmination of that question of "Is there any bigger title you'd want to start a #buildingthelist campaign for?" that I asked last week is here.
The three titles that came out on top were: GTA Trilogy (III/VC/SA); Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Stardew Valley. As in I counted up the votes for every game mentioned (67 different franchises were brought up in total) and those three were suggested the most.
So if you're interested in any of those three things on Vita, please send Gio a tweet over the next couple of days. Idea being that if we can show there's concentrated demand for just a few titles, rather than the scattergunned "everything under the sun" suggestions he gets at the moment, it might be enough to actually get things moving. You can even copy my tweets if you want:
GTA
@giocorsi @amboyes @RockstarGames Can we get the Grand Theft Auto PS2 games on Vita? III/Vice City/San Andreas! #buildingthelist
Star Wars
@giocorsi @amboyes @DisneyInteract @AspyrMedia Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for PS Vita please! #buildingthelist
Stardew Valley
@giocorsi @ConcernedApe @ChucklefishLTD @amboyes Stardew Valley for Vita please! #buildingthelist
I have no idea if this will work or fall flat on its face, but it cannot hurt to try. Gio still seems to love his Vita and he definitely has the ability to make things happen with it.
If you want any more info about why I'm doing this or why I think the games are possible both technically and realistically, I made a post on reddit about it - here.
I purchased the game thinking it would be cross-buy too. I was hoping I could play the game on the go as most RPGs tend to play better on handheld rather than on console.I purchased that game as a direct result of them saying it would be crossbuy. That sucks.
Did you play symphony of the night? That one is really good for people who find old castlevania a bit too hardThank you for the advice man !
Got a few games from the flash sale and played enough of them to talk about them now .
The Capcom Collection is a great deal as while it is a collection of games, it has multiple versions of the same game (SFII comes to mind). But this is still a great thing, as each version feels different enough to stand out. The other games are lot of fun too, with the shooting games feeling really rewarding and being surprised with a game called Knights of the Round. It is so much fun! Its like Golden Axe X RPG elements ! Highly recommend this collection if you have a PS3 to transfer the game with.
Castlevana Chronicles is a faithful version of the original game with an amazing soundtrack to boot......but like Dracula X, it isn't clicking with me X(. Old School Castlevana is just too hard for me I guess . Will give it more time though, as the controls worked better here then in Dracula X for me.
The last game I played was Super Star Dust Delta and wow its impressive. Visuals popping off the Vita screen, tons of effects all over the place and controls feeling really tight. Very fun game and one I've been waiting to go on sale/land on PS+ for a long while. While its 2 something, get it NOW if you don't own it .

If you didn't know, Arrange Mode lets you increase the number of lives you have and decrease the difficulty. It's very different playing it on Easy with 5 lives.
1) is there anyway to listen to a track on my vita while playing a game? I'm okay with muting game sound. there are some podcasts I'd like to listen to but everytime I start up the game i'm playing it stops playback.
2) Is there a way to not show up online with vita? I play a lot of TLOUR MP so when I go online [vita] i get hit with a lot of messages. I just want to vita in peace.
I asked these questions in the Flash sale thread but only 1 got answered. I think some of you may know better.
1) If I own the Vita Katamari game do I need the psp one? I do like katamari games. I don't mind playing psp games, but i do prefer trophies. I spent maybe 5-10 hours playing the vita one last year and enjoyed it alright.
2) Is there anything about Mystic Chronicle that makes it worth grabbing? I don't really care so much about the story, I'm talking about combat mechanics mostly.
3) Norn9 and Code Realize are both VNs right? I do not like VNs, but is there anything in their 'game' element part that would make them worth playing anyway? (i enjoyed ZE because i like room escape puzzles, for example)
4) Thoughts on End of Serenity psp?
5) If I have a pile of psp and vita racers already (piles!) do I need Ridge Racer psp for any reason?
6) Can Capcom® Classics Collection Reloaded be transfarred from ps3?
7) I own SAO on vita. Should I get the PS4 version for $5? I don't really care about the whole translation thing, i'll be skipping through most dialog anyway. How does it remote play [i prefer my rpgs on vita].
8) Feedback on air vietnam ps4?
9) If my PS3 isn't even plugged in, are the Fatal Frame series so good that I should grab them anyway?

And the sale ends soon, so I need to know asap. Thanks for any info shed:

Paranautical Activity for Vita? Weird that there is no PS4 version yet. If that is a decent port on Vita, I will be in heaven. Game looks rad.
Also TrackMania Turbo for me this week as I was a fan of the PC version.
Addicted to the The Division still tho.
1 - Sort of. Mixed bag of stages from Katamary 1 and 2.
2 - No. The game sucks.
3 - Dunno.
4 - Crap, but slightly better than Mystic.
5 - Yes. The start of the BanNam graphics voodoo on PSP. Game is good as well.
6 - Yes.
7 - No. Play the vita version.
9 - No.
3) They're pure VNs, no gameplay.
i didn't even know that existed. ok, thanks, definitely avoiding.
Let me know how it is if you buy it. That + Attractio are my most anticipated "on the horizon" indies (i.e. I don't consider stuff like Drift Stage anywhere near release).
Hasn't been a norm in the West until recently, to be fair. That's actually the norm.
Sounds good. I'll make a video if PSTV compatible. I have a feeling it won't be on the store tomorrow.
Drift Stage looks interesting. There seems to enough 90s style racers in development you would think one of them would get to PS4.
So you guys ready for that Call of Duty franchise sale tomorrow?
