DC Universe worth the huge download? I haven't played many MMOs and is it pay2win or what's the pay "hooks"?

The pay hook is that you have to pay for content patches. Which means if you want to do the latest dungeon or have the best pve gear you have to pony up. I don't think it's pay to win at all, but I never looked at the store much.


Top of the page recommendation: Buy Persona 4 Golden and don't backlog it.

Just finish my first playthrough on Muramasa. Feelin' good. Love this game more than Dragon's Crown.

Btw, not a port-begging, but can we expect EO series might come to Vita in the future? I know Demon Gaze doing good job, but sure thats not enough secure for Atlus though.

I think the EO won't come to the Vita any time soon. Mostly because its map drawing mechanics which was made possible by the DS's double screen and bottom resistive touchscreen.

I deleted it because not only did it have a huge download, it also had a weekly 8gb patch which was killing my bandwidth. I have no idea why the patch was always the same size.

I think that had to do with how files were structured on PS4. The patch had to redownload everything instead of the tiny chunk you needed. I believe this has been fixed now though.

I'd like to know about Extreme too. I'm going to sell my vanilla Toukiden catridge as soon as TK confirms me that Extreme is being localized and it has a retail version.

Extreme comes out this august in Japan. We'll hardly get a localization this year, but feb'15 seems a good bet (it'd be a year after the localization of vanilla). So, if you can wait some 7~8 months, wait.

It was really tough to find a copy in Australia post release month, it was exclusive to one retailer and the rare ebay listings for the Australian copy (or the UK imports) were pretty steep in price. Eventually I gave up on grabbing a retail copy and grabbed it on sale digitally ($25 is way too good to pass up) but it tends to get that with most Vita software here if you don't buy day one now.

And i'd say grab it now if you can get a decent price, we could be waiting awhile until Extreme hits the West. If you don't mind waiting though you mayaswell wait.

Earth Defence Force
Unit 13 (I think it has co-op?)

I know I'm late to the party, but be wary when buying games to co op. Not sure what your internet situation will be where you are going, but not all co op games offer ad hoc co op. I know Unit 13 does not. It seems that ad hoc is being removed the handhelds, pretty much where it began Countless Vita titles don't have it, but there are plenty that do. Can't check on it now due to work, but the games should specifically state it has ad hoc, not just "multiplayer". I know for a fact that LBP does not, which is one of the most asinine things I can think of.

Y'know, only if you weren't going to have solid interwebs. Otherwise, ignore me!

NFS Most Wanted also does not have Ad Hoc. I know Unit 13 is the only one mentioned so far, but I am willing to bet there are many many more that flat out don't have it. So again, beware!

Started Ninja Gaiden Sigma + (or should I say restarted? I've played it on PS3 until chapter 7 or something, then dropped like every other console game). Aside from the not-so-good charachter's movements and jumps, it feels great.

After putting 11 hours on Final Fantasy Type-0, I can say that Vita is not missing much. The battle system makes absolutely no sense and the 14 people party might be one of the worst ideas on an RPG ever.

It should still be in your download list (you just cannot buy the game again; it is taken off the PS Store, but the data is still within PSN's database...I think anyways :l).

I would recommend that you back the game up to your computer and/or PS3 (if you own one) so that way even if the game is fully removed off PSN (to the point that it isn't in your Download list....this has happened for a number of JP PSN tittles removed from the story ), you can still put the game on your Vita no matter what.

You should still be able to download the game and DLC if you've already purchased it.

Pretty sure its because of the licensing agreement between capcom and marvel expiring. They started removing stuff late last year and this is probably the final removal process.

When you make a licensed game your contract has a set number of years. Capcom's contract with Marvel expired. Either the fee to renew was higher than Capcom would expect to recoup from library sales of the game, or the option simply wasn't there.

Weird, I was just thinking to myself yesterday about Capcom's license with Marvel yesterday, and thinking that Disney probably wants to try and get that Arkham money and prestige.
