PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | June 2014

Bought Raidou 2 and Valiant Hearts. Between this and Shovel Knight and maybe Sniper Elite, this should be a pretty good week.

NFS Most Wanted also does not have Ad Hoc. I know Unit 13 is the only one mentioned so far, but I am willing to bet there are many many more that flat out don't have it. So again, beware!

Oh fuck. Yeah Internet will be zero as we in a villa in the middle of Spain, so it will be Adhoc only. Thanks for the info, really good to know.
 
Hi all. Wasnt sure where to post this exactly as its not new thread worthy and there seems to be a lot of Vita people here. I have an original Vita I wanted the original version of this case for awhile but never bought it and now its out of production.

I saw Hori made a new version. However I'm confused because Play-Asia lists it under PCH2000 only but all the ebay listings say its 1000 and 2000 compatabile. Plus it says something on the box I cant read in Japanese. If anyone has any insight, be much appreciated!

I have nothing to add to help your predicament, but I just wanted to say I have the first version of that case and it's really good. I just wish it had a spot for memory cards too.

It says "Hard Pouch. Slim case protection", after that ,"for use with / 1000 and 2000".

You're safe.

It literally has the numbers 1000 and 2000 on it.

If it fits the 1000 in it, you know its going to be a bit less snug putting a 2000 in there.

Thanks guys! I figured that was the case, but random ebay listings and Playasia/Yesasia
said diff things, so I was like wut. Guess I'll take the plunge.

Yeesh, how the hell did this week become so expense?!

- Resogun DLC

That's at least $45. Not mention that I'm tempted by Valiant Hearts, another $15. Then we have Shovel Knight over on Wii U, yet again $15. Plus the fraking Steam Sale.

And speaking of Resogun, I'm tempted to buy the season pass because I received the game for free . But then I read the fine print stating "all content available by June 2015". It's only $3 extra bucks, so why does that give me pause?

I actually have the Persona version of the original model of this case. I wanted a black one well cause, I wanted something a little more inconspicuous haha. I just never bought it.

But I love the construction of the original model. It's semi hard so you can stick it in a bag without worrying it will get crushed and can withstand more pressure than a soft case if you have a full bag and live in a city and take public transport like I do. But like someone else mentioned it does lack space for a lot of cards. I think I can fit a couple into the original.

I've had that case and used it for my 2000 for a while now. I have no complaints. Granted, I'm an all-digital purchase guy so lack of cart space was not a concern.
If ev0 wants, I can even put my 1000 inside it when I get home from work to see how snug the fit is and whether there is any unwanted jostle he might be concerned by.

It gives you pause because it's your nature. You're a Reluctant Hero, after all.
My logic is that if we just get one additional DLC pack on par with the one they released today over the next 12 months, the season pass will have been worthwhile.

I have that case for my slim. It's a little bit of squeeze for the 1000 to fit, but it should be fine. There's no flap for Vita games/memory cards but that also means less pressure on the analog sticks. Much easier to carry a Vita around in that then with the travel case I have for the 1000. It's not made of the most grippiest material though, and since there's no handle on it I put a PS Move wrist strap in one of the zippers just in case.

If you could do that that would be much apprciated! That's what I'm curious about most now, how it manages to fit the original. The old version of the case fit the 1000 great.

Ive seen on Amazon you can get the old model for about twice the price. I don't want to do that, but depends on the fit haha.

Thanks for the info! I'm not concerned by card space as I'm mostly digital with p4g eternally in my system physically heh. And I mainly toss it into another bag I'm carrying. Plus my house is super dusty and leaving it in a case is preferred at home heh.

Just played HSG on "true golf mode" or something like that - no grid on the ground, can't move the camera and who knows what else. As if I didn't fare bad enough on normal modes, lol.
 
I have the physical version of Deception IV Vita and I really liked it. The last game in the series I had played was Deception II. It's challenging at times but you have defensive spells in this one so you never really feel powerless. Only downside is that there is no dub.

I recommend it for fans of the series. The plus price is really good considering I paid 40$ for the cart at launch.
