What's the price of Resogun on the PS4 right now? Is it $14.99?

I ask because a download code for it is $9.99 at Gamestop: http://www.gamestop.com/ps4/games/resogun/115795

It's been this price for a while now at GS. I kept checking Amazon to see what price they have, but the base game has been unavailable for some time.

Now is the perfect time to get this game. Not only did a HUGE, FREE update come out a few days ago, but the last DLC arrives on Tuesday/Wednesday.

Sly 4 is by far the best Sly. I appreciate Sly 1 a lot though for being the only game in the series that's a pure no nonsense linear platformer.

Gotta agree man :D! Sly 1 felt like a sudo-Crash sequel with its gameplay and the level design was very well designed (made usage of the stealth mechanics while also having a great flow). Bently and Murry in Sly 1 were just....'meh', but they took so little of the games time that it wasn't much of a issue.

Sly 2 was a good game :)....but I personally felt like it dragged on X(. It is great that it had so much content, but by the fourth world, things got repetitive for me sadly :(. Bently and Murry's new gameplay was solid though, so unlike Sly 1, they didn't detract the game's focus (Sly's gameplay) for me. To make a fair comparison, it feels like a refined version of Sonic Adventure; you have the main star of the game, but you also have two fun abet not amazing characters to play as well (Sly being the main star comparing to Sonic, while Tails/Knuckles compared to Bently/Murry).

Sly 3 was just...ugh X(. It is such a damn shame as it had all the tools to make it a great game :l. Sly, Bently and Murry felt fantastic to control and you can really tell Sucker Punch refined Bently/Murry's gameplay to be just as fun as Sly's :D. The worlds were huge and colorful, the visuals were fantastic, the OST was great and the first four worlds were quite fun to play :). But...then the game turns into Sonic Adventure 2 and tires so hard to pull you away from the fantastic gameplay (Sly) onto new friends to play as (Panda King, Penlope, Demetri, Guru). It is odd, as the Guru was a great addition (as it turned the game into a sudo-Sonic game, keeping your speed going by contentiously high-jacking foes) and Penlope was a way to give us more hacking levels (granted, the RC car was 'meh' but a hell of a lot better then the driving levels in Sly 1) but the rest of them were just ugh :(. Panda King felt boring to play as and Demtri's underwater levels controlled like crap. Overall, it was an okay game, but it could of been so much better.

Sly 4 felt like it took everything that was great across the three games and perfected it in every possible way :). The game had a clear and strong focus on Sly's gameplay, the ansestors were fantastic additions to the game (they work like how I think other Sonic characters should work in 3D; they play exactly like Sonic but with one 'gimmick' unique to them), Bently/Murry/Carmelta were smartly used in the game, the hubs had a ton of stuff to find (clue bottles, treasures, ect) and worlds/levels themselves were greatly designed (the small levels evoke a lot from Sly 1 while the hubs were I think the fully realized goals that Sucker Punch tried to do with Sly 2 and 3). Fantastic game and I wish Sanzaru comes back to the series in the future :).

Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?
Is there anything about Rayman Legends that'll make me like it considerably more than Origins? On either PS4 or Vita. Now to delete something for Monpiece...

Legends feels like a solid expansion over Origins, if that makes any since :l. If you get it on PS4, you get the entire game using button controls, leaving the Murphy stages feeling like standard levels with a small 'gimmick' on top of them. If you are getting the Vita version, then they function exactly like they do on Wii U; Player 1 auto moves right while you use the touch screen or rear touch pad to move Murphy around.

They are fun, but they sadly get old fast :(. The game still has a lot of traditional levels and they look, play and sound fantastic. I felt that the physics in Legends feel a bit better then Origins, so getting the game to essentially re-play Origins with even more refined controls sounds like a solid deal to me :). The game on its own has some great portions (the Underwater Zone, the Music stages) but it is not as strong as Origins was. I enjoyed the game a lot, but not nearly as much as I did Origins.

The PS4 version has no load times at all, the 'option' to use Murphy with the touch pad, and costumes based on Far Cry 3. The Vita version has a Prince of Persia costume for Rayman, a Splinter Cell costume for Globox, extra touch-based levels, and the option to use the rear touch pad for the Murphy stages.

Hope this helps you coolasj19 :).

+The shipping box was delivered to me in less than 1 day, when they told me it's be 3-5.
+The repair apparently took a day or two, when they told me 7.
+The return shipping was also mentioned to take 3-5 days, it appears to have taken 1.
+Vita is in better shape than ever.
+Sony Repair Service is no joke, I'll gladly spend my money for them to repair anything, anytime.
+$129 so well spent.
++Sony Repair = A+ from me

Nice! Odds are you got a refurb with new case/controls, or maybe even a new unit. Which is fantastic for you, and likely cheaper for Sony than spending time repairing yours.

How is the DW8 complete edition on vita? I read it has framerate issues and that the story mode is missing.

Crap. It's missing story mode? It said 'complete edition' and I fell for it. Then again, I'll actually play and enjoy it on my vita, whereas if I'd bought the PS4 version I'd probably never get around to it. So... I guess I'm okay either way.

My backlog is growing so fast. Meanwhile, despite having hundreds of games I paid for on my vita, I've been chugging along on F2P Fat Princess, which actually is set up so you really don't have to pay a dime, though it's challenging as hell without having powerups at your disposal (you get some for free, just not nearly enough). The actual rpg-lite match 3 mechanics are really solid.

I'm also restarting Tactics Ogre LUCT which I've played before but never got around to beating. Slow start is discouraging, it has yet to sink its hooks in.

Finally beat Ether Mirage in Demon Gaze, jeez.
I've never had to strategize so hard before in an RPG. Love the feeling of defeating a strong enemy.

Story mode is in, framerate is dodgy. I've played a bunch and it hasn't bothered me TOO much, but it is very noticeable in large battles with lots of FX. You'll also need to download the free upgraded audio dlc (400mb I think?) so the ingame sound quality isn't crummy.

save your money

I ended up just buying these instead:

lsTsKsV.png

Before buying and after looking up some videos I realized Athena is the better arcade version of what was one of the first NES games I remember playing as a kid, at a baby sitter's house. I could never remember the name of it all these years. Very cool to see.

I actually played it the first time I played the original Zelda game too. I remember that day vivdly because I didn't know what I was doing and accidentally overwrote their end-game save with a full set of hearts. Turned it off and then snuck away like nothing happened -_-

That is fantastic. So glad you got your Vita back, and in better condition then before.

Yea that is what it seems like...I couldn't be happier thanks! I still love it more than the LE version of some other "new" system I just got. Despite my addiction to that hunting game, I plan on showing the Vita some love later in the way of those beautiful SNK classics.

Finally finished Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. Got it via PS+ and kept taking breaks from it. I think I hated about as much as I enjoyed about it.

Too many annoying minigames. Too much Vita motion stuff that was even worse with PS3 sixaxis when I briefly switched over. I enjoyed the non-gimmicky Sly platforming stuff, though.

it's probably my second favorite Sly game behind 2, sucks that you didn't enjoy it

The wait for Trails in the Sky Second Chapter has become bearable after I forgot the ending with time, but how long is it gonna take? I thought we'd have a release date by now.

Looking for a partner for Monster Monpiece. I want to get the online trophies out of the way. We'll do quick sets of 20 matches; You'll win 10x then I win 10x. We'll repeat this 10x to get 100 wins each. Losing player will just keep passing their turn to make things faster. Please send me a PM if interested.

So, if anyone remembers, I sent my White Assassin's Creed Vita in for repair last Thursday. The screen was damaged internally, resulting in no picture being shown. Once I removed all my add ons to the Vita, and wrapped it up in its "travel case", it was sent off. They got it within a day or so. I let it go over the weekend, since I figured no one was going to be in to work on it. Monday comes, I avoid checking the website since they are likely still processing the incoming service orders. Tuesday comes, no update on the website...same for Wednesday...Thursday the site just tells me "check for service here!". Ok, I thought, maybe it's just still being worked on, and I'll know when it gets shipped out...Last night, as I was playing a new hunting that's not on a Vita, I got a knock on my door. FedEx was delivering my freshly serviced Vita, back to me, about 1 week after I sent it out.

The unit looked glorious. I bought the unit (to be my main unit) off Craigslist, because I wanted the LE White Vita due to it's hawtness. There was slight damage to the system when I bought it - some scuffs on the back right near the dimple for your fingers, a crack in the front plastic in between the holes for the speakers on the right, and a few other minor dings. I didn't care, and soon to look past those imperfections at the beauty of the white Vita. Examining my freshly serviced unit (heyooo!), I am left breathless. It seems as though Sony just sent me a "brand new" white Vita. ALL damage that was on the system is gone. All scuffs, dings, and very minor scratches are nowhere to be found. I figured they would likely just slap a new faceplate on the thing, but whatever magic they did, my Vita is working, looking, and feeling better than it EVER did, even brand new :D (I know I baby my tech way more than the previous owners, even gauging that from a short Craigslist meetup at their home). This was well worth the $129 to have it repaired. I was afraid they'd just slap a LCD screen in as a replacement...but it doesn't appear that way. I didn't do a comparison with my back up Vita, as I was too consumed with my hunting...but the glow coming off my serviced Vita was familiar enough, it looked just *so* good.

I *was* going to buy a PS TV yesterday, but I missed it. I plan on celebrating this though by purchasing a TON of the NeoGeo games...Tizoc - that is a great list you made, I will be using that as a reference. I've always been very confused though as to what games work/don't work on Vita, but I'll just scope it out on the system itself through the Vita's store. I also plan on finally picking up Xrd, just need to decide on whether I want better visuals or the ability to use my fight stick..

Banned game post-game or Analogue on my PC? Which one should I play for the rest of my Valentine's Day?

Go for the post-game. It's worth it to get the true end, and you can level up really fast because the monsters give tons of XP/CM in the last couple dungeons.

Haven't seen this posted yet here I think
Tales of Hearts R on sale today only (2/14) at the bamco store (amazon prime shipping elegible).

Man.. this is tempting, not sure if I want it anymore though. I've tried to buy it at least 3 times now but something always happens. (Lost in shipping, out of stock, cancelled order)

edit: Guess I'll wait a bit longer to see if it goes under 20

It's a Namco Tales game. It will go cheaper. It had a small print run but is still easily available.

If you don't mind digital it will be under 10 bucks before the year ends at least once. It's also a rubbish version of the game.

Hoping for $20 or less on Hearts and Xillia 2 physical, mostly because I'm not sure I'll actually play either. One tales game goes a long way. Xillia I'm certain will hit it, not entirely sure about Hearts but they seem to have more stock (or lower sales) than I expected.

How's Xillia 2 supposed to compare to Xillia again? Because Symphonia 2 was...just...dreadful

I only bought Xrd for now. So lovely. I'm so bad, but whatever. Still dunno which twin stick game to get.

Is DoA5 Ultimate worth it just for the single player for $10?

The story mode is rubbish, but it's a great fighting game and there's plenty of single-player modes to keep you entertained. If you do end up wanting to play online, the upgrade to Last Round is free.

I found Xillia 2's story and characters much more interesting. Be prepared for a lot of reused assets. The story isn't a convoluted mess like Xillia, but the game does gloss over some things.

It's also darker in tone.

For all of those in doubt with guilty gear vita ( or accent core plus alpha r) it is an excellent underrated port of the arcade versión of the game . only downsides are . no online multiplayer and a 4:3 screen type of sight. It is because its based on the arcade versión which is not a wide screen game. If you can accept that is the best guilty gear out there in 2d in your vita looking awesome. Has tons of modes for playing single player.

Xillia 2 is passable, nowhere near as good as Xillia but it's decent

Pretty much on a grindfest in the banned game. Gotta earn mad cash to motivate these girls.

... Just like every girl ever. Why can't this game be discussed again?

Unless you're stuck on a boss or something, I wouldn't bother grinding too much until the post-game dungeons. You can get like 3-9k CM/XP per battle there, it won't take long to max everyone out.

The enemies in the current dungeon are handing me my ass. Somehow, I went from 'I can curb stomp these bitches' to 'oh fuck, horribly under-leveled'.

Apparently, it can not be discussed without people throwing around words like kiddie porn or pedo.

According to another site (Chinese), the Asian version of Moero Chronicle does have English text like the e-mail I got from Play-Asia alluded to. That'll be two Vita games, Oreshika 2 being the other, that I'll have to import next month.
