According to another site (Chinese), the Asian version of Moero Chronicle does have English text like the e-mail I got from Play-Asia alluded to. That'll be two Vita games, Oreshika 2 being the other, that I'll have to import next month.
seriously thinking about importing

Anyone else find playing Japanese language only games (when you don't speak the language of course) exhausting even when the text isn't really "necessary"? Been playing this Sonico PS3 game but with no guide the menus alone are a bit of a struggle and I can't really play for more than an hour. I enjoy it for the actual photography/dressup stuff but it's oddly mentally taxing even though I know I can just skip the text and I do fine in the action segments.

Apparently, it can not be discussed without people throwing around words like kiddie porn or pedo.

Which is sad because it's only people with no intent of playing that do that.

Been finding the combat fun though running out of mana is frustrating, and much like Monpiece the rubbing game isn't very fun and is rather too frequent/important for it's low skill and fun. Not very far though, just got back the first runaway. Boss designs are alright so far.

No but seriously, if there is one genre that is already well represented on the PS4, it's twin stick shooters, you almost can't go wrong (didn't really like Dead Nation, Nano Assault Neo X was so-so)

Oh, I meant SS Ultra vs Geo Wars 3...I have basically all the others in some form or another. But yeah, it's already a great gen for twin sticks. And we've still got Alienation, Assault Android Cactus (so good) and Housemarq's new game with Eugene Jarvis to look forward to!

I platinumed Bullet Girls without being able to read kanji (though I understood the majority of the spoken dialogue). There's an excellent guide on the PlayStation Trophies forum that I used to help me with some of the options/objectives that weren't voiced, which was nice. I played though Onechanbara Z2 as well, though I'm reluctant to try playing something like an RPG that isn't fully voiced.

I understand random words/parts of speech and that's it. "No" is about the only Kanji I can read. I'd love to learn but it's a pretty huge undertaking--German is hard enough and that's so very, very much closer to english. Are there any sites you use to understand stuff other than Playstation Trophies? I guess I should see if they have a guide for this. I think I can play Estival Versus when it comes, especially if the menus are the same. But I always want to listen to the dialog for some reason, and a combo of that plus fussing with menus kinda grinds me down. Not sure if I'll get used to it (the Sonico game is my first import, and most of the rest of mine are shmups where it's a pretty minor issue) or what

I mostly just use the playstationtrophies forum, GameFAQS and Japanese wikis that people link to with Google translate. I don't really import too often, usually just for games I don't think will be localized that aren't too complex really.

Brandish is so fucking good, stop waiting for it to go on sale and just buy it already, you won't see this on sale til 2020 if PSN manages to stay on that long.
I won't tell you it is the closest we'll get to Dark Souls on Vita, but it's been a great experience so far and you really get to appreciate most of the level design and ideas used in it.

Unfortunately I gave up on Suikoden 1 after chipping away at it for 2 months. Got about 12 hrs in (I was at the
NecLord bossfight
) but I am just not feeling it at all. The only reason I continued on for so long was because I enjoyed the story and enjoyed collecting the 108 stars, wasn't really enjoying the actual gameplay at all. I'll just read up on what happens in the end and import a 100% save into Suikoden 2 so I can get the bonuses.

On the bright side, I am extremely excited to finally play Suikoden 2!

Yeah Brandish is amazing. Falcom are just consistently awesome and i'm always down to support their localized titles. For the amount of fun and hours you get from the game the price is more than fair.

I can see why some people would compare it to Dark Souls, but its very much its own thing. People just like to equate dungeon crawlers with difficulty. As long as you arent just recklessly charging through the floors, you'll be fine.

I'm about four hours in. Gameplay is definitely dull as all hell. The story is OK but pretty cliche. I'm hoping it's not much more than 20 hours long. I can handle that, I think. Playing in small chunks thanks to Vita and suspend/resume.

I heard Suikoden 1 was like 15 hours tops but I was 12hrs in and apparently had much more to go (I did do some grinding for 1-2hrs). The story has some pretty good moments later on that I'm glad I stayed around for, but I eventually just had it with the archaic mechanics. I JUST started Suikoden 2 and I'm relieved to see it has a sprint button that doesn't require a holy rune to use lol.

Really enjoying Battle Princess of Arcadias now, I'll try to post more info soon. Very cute and does some interesting things beyond simple beat 'em up mechanics.

The most ridicuclous limited edition ever is on sale for $27 on Amazon, yes I am of course referring to the curry bowl, spoon and bib limited edition for Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God. It's actually $1 cheaper than the game now. It doesn't have any artbooks, figs or soundtracks but it's certainly a...unique limited edition.

I'm officially addicted to the RE-make, and have been playing casually (read; not rushing) for the last two days.

Started with Jill
(dat ass),
but am planning on going back for a Chris playthrough (and maybe another Jill playthrough) right after while all the puzzles and hiding spots are fresh.

Just fucked up
Plant 42 and Neptune,
should be close to the end IIRC.

Sweet. If I don't jump the gun and import them both too, make sure to update us and confirm.

I'm just waiting for it to be released in EU. By the time it is, I'll probably lose interest.

Man I'm so busy with school and work... I simply cannot wait to get a break, I've only been able to sneak up a few hours here and there on my n3DS :( Needless to say, I haven't even been able to touch my PS4 or Vita, that's the thing about college, either you go entire weeks without doing jack, or they just throw everything at your face and expect you to "deal with it".

Yeah, it can get pretty ridiculous. You can go weeks without much sleep and no free time only to have another month following with nothing to do. There's no logic to these things, at all. :/

Oh well. And sorry VitaGAF, MH4U already has its claws in me and I don't think there is much of a chance for escape, so I'll be probably lurking only here for the coming weeks. If anyone wants to get some hunting going, add me!

And play Yakuza 4. That's also a pretty fun, albeit rather janky, game.

I am gonna split my time between here and MH4U whenever I have free time for the next 2 weeks. These midterms and assignments are kicking my ass pretty badly... And since I work part time for another university, I am both a busy student and a busy barista serving other busy students aha.

I believe you were on the FC spreadsheet that I created for the MH4U OT, I think I already have you. Still haven't gone online, mainly because of the lack of time. Any VitaGaf fans with the game that want to add me, feel free to PM me, or add yourself to the MH4U Guild list by quoting the first post on the OT.

Oh, don't worry. It'll come to an end. Once you get out you'll always be busy, and won't have any breaks.

Parakeetman

No one wants a throne you've been sitting on!
Assuming this does end up with full ,understandable english, do those cases come with a Cero label or something else? Never had/seen an "asian" region case.

Taiwan does have its own rating system

Not sure about Hong Kong which now would be considered China I suppose.

I think Singapore has its own rating system too.

I've done full time work before so I know how it is, but I prefer it. You are done your shift, that's it. In college, you are there all day, and you go home to read books and write assignmwnts., aside from your other responsibilities. I can't wait to get my degree and get the hell out lol
