Nope, they become unusable after your subscription period ends. It's based on some hidden internal clock as well so you won't be able to gimp the system by changing your date and time settings either.

Assuming I own most psp/ps1 rpgs, which should I play next? I'm a bit overwhelmed by choice (also neck deep in Freedom Wars and BoI).
Put another several hours into BoI tonight. The time just disappears. This last time I won as a beastly glue droppin, poison/charm rootin' tootin' shootin' annihilator with respawning spider friends and a blood trail. It was also the 'dark' challenge, which I'm glad is behind me because it was a bit, well, dark.
I can see why people talk about dumping hundreds of hours into the game. Spelunky never got its hooks into me, but I'm already sure I'm long lost to BoI.
I found it to be shitty.

The gameplay is very, very uninspired. You'll play one match and want to delete the game.

For me, Spelunky is the pinnacle of Indie Games, because it is perfect!
I can see the appealing of BoI, though, but it's not for me.

I'm unsure if I want Rorona. Finished Totori+, got 3 quarters through Meruru+ and just didn't find it as interesting as Totori. Played Rorona on the PS3 until it crashed and deleted my harddrive, whereafter I cursed the game and will always associate it with losing hundreds of hours of saves. I think I will just wait for the +-Versions of the Dusk trilogy to get back into Atelier games.
Disgaea 4 on the other hand is mighty tempting, even though I already put close to 80 hours into it on my PS3.
