I just got a PlayStation 3 and I have a couple of questions.
Is there a free trial of PlayStation Plus?
If I download a free "exclusive" avatar and then DON'T have PlayStation Plus, does it go away like the free games?

You can keep the avatars and DLC, though they don't really give away DLC any more.
There's no free trial for new PS3 owners. There are always 7 day trials and stuff floating around, though.

Looks like there's currently a pricing error for Assassin's Creed Liberation HD, which doesn't come out until next month. The game's page lists it as $20, but if you look at it in the list of all PS3 games, it's $15, and you can add it to your cart at that price.
I haven't tried buying it yet, but maybe this is a way to save $5 on it.

1. Get the PS4 version from Account 1 either via web or PS4 store.
2. Download and install flower on Account 1 on your PS4.
3. Go to settings and set your PS4 as primary console for Account 1.
4. Log out and Log into Account 2.
5. Go to settings and set your PS4 as primary console for Account 2 as well.
6. Profit??

Does anybody think there's a good chance PS+ is gonna hit Ratchet & Clank: ITN with a bigger discount? If not, I'm gonna bite at this price, because I'm tearing through the HD redux Ratchets (UYA and Deadlocked left), and I'd like to go ahead and jump into ITN as soon as I'm finished.

Yeah the last two weeks are usually when the Vita games drop in NA. Second to last week is usually the PSN Vita game while the last week of the month is the retail Vita game.
Probably already posted but you get 12 month german [EU] PS+ for 33 at Amazon.de atm.

Why arent the latest patched version included in PSN online store?
My friend lent me his PS3 for a day.
I am at the PSN+ 30 day trial.
tried the MvC2 demo. downloaded 232 MB. then when I click on the game it requires me to download again the 1.01 version and another 200 MB.
Couldnt they just upload the latest patched version straight away? Would have saved them bandwidth cost.Just like it happens with Steam. I cant imagine what will happen with even larger games.
for this kind of bad service they even ask a subscription?

The patches are downloaded from the store automatically on Vita and PS4, the PS3 is a 7 year old machine that doesn't have that capability.
Also you don't need a subscription to download games or game updates.

I don't think that's what he means. The question is, why does somebody downloading a game for the first time have to download patches at all? It makes sense to have them download something that's already up to date.

PS+ and currency cards are tied to regions so you'll need a german account for that offer.
You made the right decision. Vita is cool but not instead of a 3DS.
Press Triangle on the save, select copy to, then another account.

When I go into the PSN Store on my PS4 it acts like I don't have PS+ (even though I'm clearly signed in). Any way to remedy this?

Does this apply to PS+ IGC as well?
I'm planning dual-accounts on my PS4, with A2 having the benefit of PS+ from different regions... but I really would prefer being able to play them on A1 without switching between accounts.
And yes, both A1/A2 will be share the same primary console.
