Can you cloud stream steam games on steam deck for free with no strings attached?
Wasn't looking on steam, either way its still double the priceWhat are you talking about? The 1 TB OLED steam deck is selling for C$819 in Canada. The 256 GB version is going for C$499.
GAF - quick they’re enjoying a product!Got mine earlier today. I'm actually pleasantly surprised, it works much better than i expected with my 300 mb connection. It is more stable than the remote play app and the streaming quality is better too.
The device itself is very comfortable to hold, much better than a backbone or even the Switch. It has a nice glossy screen. It's not comparable to an OLED TV but more than good enough. I think it's quite a bit better than the og Switch screen.
The dual sense is pretty much identical to the regular one. I think the thumbsticks are slightly smaller but that's it.
So yeah, i,m happy so far. I can't go back to phone streaming.
Phone battery, phone notifications popping all over the place, controls, screen size. Take your pick.
You can also do Remote Play on PC, Mac, tablet and pair up PS gamepads. That's what Portal is for...
Yep, covering all basedYou can also do Remote Play on PC, Mac, tablet and pair up PS gamepads.
You wouldn't need profiles on the PSP, it connects to your PS5 as if it is a second screen. There is nothing saved on the device, its just a screen for remote play.I just want to know how it handles logins for multiple profiles. I share my ps5 with my kids and we all have our own profiles. To switch to a different profile on this device, do I have to log out/ log in each time or can I log in with each one and just select which profile I want to remote with?
Can you answer this for th4tguy
Multiple user profiles and portal
Playstation Portal reviews
They're both being paid though... Both being paid? Both as in who?www.neogaf.com
No haptics mic or speaker thoYou can also do Remote Play on PC, Mac, tablet and pair up PS gamepads.
I think he means multiple profiles on the PS5. When connecting with Portal do you switch then using the device not actually on it.OK, so I answered for th4tguy it's just a second screen for the PS5. You don't have profiles on the unit as you don't save anything to the device. you control the profiles as you normally would. Dont think of it as a Switch, Steam Deck, or even the app on your phone, it's literally just a screen.
HOWEVER, Sony says they are looking into direct-to-cloud streaming. I would imagine that the custom OS on the device would get an update to have profiles.
Honestly the battery life is better than that with streaming on Chiaki and XbPlay because it’s not too hardware intensive: kind of a pain to get it set up but streaming both PS5 and Xbox on one device and having native games ensures I’m not getting a Portal. What the fuck are you talking about, Steam Deck plays games locally on the device with no latency, you can also emulate older games, stream movies online and browse the internet.
You can also stream PS5 to Steam Deck and you'll probably get around 6-6.5 hours from it. With the new OLED Deck you'll probably get 8 hours.
Otherwise, what's going on at Sony, it's like they don't know what they're doing. Absolutely nothing worth talking about happening over there over the last couple of years. It's like they fell of a cliff.
I will pick one up if it drops to $100. I like Vita TV and have two of them, one for backup.Big PS Vita TV vibes. These will probably be fire sales for sub $50 next year like Vita TVs were too.
Dang. So single player experiences are good but anything close to competitive it's not going to be a good experience? So no grinding camos/skins because you'll get smoked. So have had mine a few hours and COD is tough and not really enjoyable as the lag can really be felt and gets your wrecked. MLB The Show and NBA 2k are near perfect. Will put more games through their pace’s tomorrow but very happy with it.

MLB the show was one I had problem streaming on my GCloud due to the timing for hitting. Nice to hear it plays well on the Portal. Of course my hitting is trash either way.So have had mine a few hours and COD is tough and not really enjoyable as the lag can really be felt and gets your wrecked. In japan, they call this sort of attitude 'Tsundere' where a person shows outright they dislike/hate something but deep down inside their heart they love it so much. For someone that already claimed its DOA, why did you bother wasting time buying it?
Ah I just have one profile so let me create one and see what that behavior is.I think he means multiple profiles on the PS5. When connecting with Portal do you switch then using the device not actually on it.
Hitting is a little trickier as I usually use the stick for directional hitting but just using one click hitting on this and it’s doing fine but my house has a very powerful router mesh system so signal is very goodMLB the show was one I had problem streaming on my GCloud due to the timing for hitting. It’s not ideal and was getting wrecked regularly because of the split second delay. It’s doable for just grinding camos but I wouldn’t use it going in hoping to top the leaderboardsDang. Cant you buy the attachments for the sticks?Oh side note reviews probably mentioned this but I will say it anyhow this thing feels great in the hands but the sticks are smaller than the dualsense
Its not terrible but being a large man with grizzly bear sized hands i can sure feel the size difference
With smaller sticks do your thumbs feel like they slide off? I hope stick drift is addressed since or can you replace them if they start going out.Oh side note reviews probably mentioned this but I will say it anyhow this thing feels great in the hands but the sticks are smaller than the dualsense

That was my fear. Are there any streaming handhelds with no noticeable lag in games like CoD?
Its a Remote Play device, what people expect is irrelevant, its for, you know, Playing.... Remotely (which it does very well, better than anything else out there for PS5 Remote Play)
You really hate this thing! It’s literally the only thing it can do for no reason. Its hardware is able to but can’t access PS5 media app or cloud streaming. Actually, I am going to push for it to never get updated for PS cloud streaming or app support since that’s what some of you guys want.
Tsundere deez nutsIn japan, they call this sort of attitude 'Tsundere' where a person shows outright they dislike/hate something but deep down inside their heart they love it so much.
Yes and now you can also do it on Portal, so I don't have to buy a PC, tablet or Mac.You can also do Remote Play on PC, Mac, tablet and pair up PS gamepads.
How many times are you going to come in here crying about what it should/shouldn’t be? It is what it is, deal with it.It’s literally the only thing it can do for no reason. I don't understand why you keep repeating that. Nobody is saying otherwise, are they? It’s literally the only thing it can do for no reason. Yeah I think, according to the reviews as well, this is "a very well-made device for a very specific use case."This is exactly what I was hoping for real world and the whole reason why this device is worth it for some buyers.
Can you cloud stream steam games on steam deck for free with no strings attached?
What the hell? I stood up for this device when I thought it had direct connection with PS5 with some sort of USB dongle or the like.
With wifi and testing over 120ms, it sucks compared to using a Wii U gamepad. What a fucking joke. If you want to play PS5 games at home that bad, you may as well do it a different way that will also allow it out of the house and do anything else you want.
Wait, is there really not any advantage over streaming to a phone with a $10 controller clip? Jesus.
How are the haptics and adaptive triggers? Is that identical?
Is it just as good as a "native handheld" experience? Like literally a PS5 in my hands with very little compromises? I could play some twitch based game and love it?

I said no strings attached. You’re certainly charged nothing if you want to stream GeForce Now games on the deck on your existing GFN subscription.
There’s PS5 game streaming on PS Plus Premium and that certainly isn’t free.
You're certainly charged nothing if you want to live in the most expensive apartment in Burj Khalifa once you have paid the rentI said no strings attached.
