Yes, Sony knows their GaaS MLB, GT7 and Destiny 2 games are the most successful game ever of their studios.

Sony also knows that basically all the most successful games of their platform, in Xbox, in PC and in mobile are GaaS, so this is why they decided to get stronger in GaaS and to release like 8 more from PS Studios in addition to the already released ones.

I've seen first hand what happens when a company realises it's the only competition in town, and it's detrimental, especially towards the consumer and customers.

No, Bluepoint said that they are done of making remasters and remakes and that at Sony were going to work in original games only.

Their first original game has been God of War Ragnarok, they codeveloped it as one of its support teams. They are relatively small and apparently the whole studio was working on it after the Demon's Souls remake. That would mean that they only have been working on other game for around half a year, so way too early to show it this year.

They didn't have a game design team: they had a single game designer until after GoWR hired a level designer. Not enough designers to make their own game, so their next game is going to be in a support role again.

Wow Jim Ryan finally woke up? Who decided to be the brave individual to poke the old bear with a stick during his hibernation period?

Next month Sony will have released basically the first wave of shown games that they did use to promote the PS5, so they will show the second wave of games.

It's a good moment now that they finally had consoles in the stores for a few months and that the PSVR2 launch campaign is over.

That's all. After that as usual Sony will continue releasing, announcing and showing great games for their console several times per year.
