Wow, I just watched the lastest Dynasty Warriors Next trailer ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MW2BTNcc4o&feature=youtu.be ) and I think it looks great! It seems to have many options that weren't on DW7 :O

So I have a little question for people who own it, is the story mode the same from DW7? I only completed one of the families. If it isn't the same, is it similar enough? I really liked it.

Please answer, I'm really torn :3

Fuck me, this game is missing at our launch :<<
I've actually not played any DW since 5 or something (or whatever one that came out xbox 360 launch)

Does anyone know if this Hori protective screen is glossy or matte? I can't see the answer anywhere on that page.
It's been theorized because of the similarity in SKU numbers between the Hori protector on Amazon and the "glossy" Hori SKU on Play Asia that it's definitely the glossy and not the matte.

Got one from amazon.ca.
Don't have a memory card to actually do anything.
:(
Stake out your local EB Games for memory cards. Don't let your exclusive 6-day Vita window go to waste.
I've got a 32GB card just waiting here for UPS to arrive.

No issue with Gradius Collection. It's just not up on the Vita Store yet.
Should be transferrable to a North American Vita through the PS3 if you've already purchased it or buy it new given what we know now.

Thanks.

I just went back a few pages and read that list of PSP games that are incompatible with Vita. Kinda blows. Sold my PSP a long time ago and was hoping to catch up on a bunch of stuff with Vita. I'm going to wait for a bit more clarification on how Sony plans to address this issue and what exactly does/doesnt work. There are like 10 games on that list that I was really hoping to get.

They're considering it in a patch.

To me that sounds like PR to lead people to buy the game thinking it's going to get a MP patch and 3 months later nobody will care.

Thanks. I will probably wait for someone to order it and give feedback since the release date is tomorrow.

This is kind of why I wish that list wasn't posted. The launch isn't even officially here yet but people get on early and see a store that isn't fully up yet and freak out.

Apologies if this has already been asked but does anyone know how well the Vita retains its charge when switched off? The thing I liked least about PSP was that you would charge it, then if you left it for a few days you'd come back to find that the battery was drained and sometimes it would be completely dead.

I could charge my DS, leave it for weeks and come back and turn it on and play it for ages with no problem but you wouldn't have had a hope in hell of that with the PSP.

Just hope that the Vita isn't as bad as the PSP in this regard.

Ok people. I fly into America from Japan on the 14th and I intend to purchase a Vita physically. Will the FEB be in stores to purchase or am I going to have to purchase it on Amazon? I really want:

3G/Wi-Fi Vita
8GB Card
Lumines
Wipeout 2048
Ninja Gaiden Sigma+

What's my best options? There's so much going on with the deals I'm totally confused.

anyone know if you can still reserve the FEB edition at gamestop and still get it when it comes out at GS? i have had the wifi one reserved for a while but i really want this thing right now

Cool, I'll do that at lunch/after work.

Maybe this will help

Yes.

In short, here's the breakdown of things you're getting out of the box for people that are confused. (This doesn't include that the free AT&T Data Pass and free game that both systems get after you activate the 3G)

$299 3G/WIFI Launch Bundle - Includes 3G/WIFI Unit, 8GB Memory Card (2/22)
$349 First Edition Bundle - Includes 3G/WIFI Unit, 4GB Memory Card, Little Deviants, and Official Case. (2/15)

So are all of those incompatible games going to be made available soon? I'm totally ignorant of the situation and this is sort of important in deciding exactly how soon I'm getting one of these bad boys.

Anyone know when the US / Europe Vita PlayStation Stores are due to open?
The US Vita PSN store is already up, although some PSP games are missing. We haven't heard anything about the European store yet.
Maybe a rushed question, games like sonic cd (or psn ganes) could be played on the vita???

I can´t seen to find any info on this.
PSN, PS2, and PS3 games are not compatible with the PS Vita. Support for PS1 games will be added in the future.

Likely yes. Someone already posted that a game that was incompatible from the store (Peace Walker) worked when they downloaded and transferred it from the PS3

Tried Fifa today; it is really good, new features such as touch-passing and shooting are great once you get used to it (it takes a couple of matches).

Visually it is stunning, virtually identical to its ps360 counterpart. It looks even sharper thanks to dat small OLED.

Can't wait.

:(

same... cant even use the camera app without a memorycard :(
ebgames shows instock for the 32gb and 4gb though... gonna go there and see if theyre actually selling them..

hmm it seems the eb near me has a 32gb card. should i buy modnation digital or retail? keep in mind, i rarely sell games at all. i just already have bought uncharted, wipeout, and hotshots retail so i don't feel like having a million cards. anybody know the amount of space modnation takes up?

Bummer :( wish an update could make them compatible.

Call ahead. I phoned two stores yesterday. One wasn't selling them and holding off to wait until street date next Wednesday. The other was selling them right out of their shipping box - and they only had three 32GB cards not preordered they could part with.

They should have released the bloody thing for valentines day. Some of you are lucky to get it then; the rest of us have to wait another 2 weeks. So bloody stupid!

I guess I am severely bummed out that you can't hook your Vita to your TV. What in the world is up with that? Sometimes we want to play games on a bigger screen, especially with media. It's not like we're suddenly going to say, "Why would I do that when I can buy a PS3?" Because you can't lug a PS3 around with you, last time I checked! lol

The fact that my smartphone has an HDMI-Out and the Vita doesn't makes me smh.

The dev units had the HDMI out as well, I believe there's a place for a hook up it just depends if they release the cable if not I bet it will be in the interation.

No, the difference is that the dev units had an actual HDMI port so that the developers had a better look at the game. The retail units will not have any sort of port, so unless you want to fork over $2000 I really don't think you'll be able to do this. Even Sony said the Vita won't have that function. But yeah, a later PSP did have the feature to plug it in, so we can only hope. I just wish they'd gotten it right the first time.
