Does anyone know an online retailer in EU that still has psvr available? I cannot find anything. ;(
Thanks in advance!
For what it's worth; I have the OLD camera and have never had a tracking issue. It all works perfectly.

damn.
the tracking is a huge problem, how the fuck did sony think this was good enough to go to market with.
Wobble "solved".
Sit really close :-/
I'm tempted to just return this thing.
It's not a problem for everyone.
I've yet to experience the tracking issues I've seen people mention on GAF and other places. I did experience the drifting to the left issue after one time after a long play session, but restarting the game fixed it right away.
I mean, it just seems way more widespread than I expected from the preview coverage. And you may not have had tracking issues, but you have had drift issues.
Just makes it hard to buy in - I've been obsessively reading this thread since launch. Yest I walked into a best buy and had a core headset in my hands, ready to go, and couldn't pull the trigger. Just not knowing if it will work perfectly is super frustrating.

No tracking issues.
Same. My camera is even right under the bedroom light. No tracking issues.
Hi!
Has anyone tried Kitchen ? It's in the japanese store, it says its a 3minuts horror demo: https://store.playstation.com/#!/ja-jp/%e3%82%b2%e3%83%bc%e3%83%a0/kitchen/cid=JP0102-CUSA06421_00-BH70000KITCHEN01
Screenshots look really good.
I haven't had any issues *knocks on wood*! I'm sitting in my room though, and there isn't really anything to obstruct it.
It's a great demo. Super happy go-lucky. Just an all around great time. Give it a shot!
Just played Batmam
Holy Shit! Absolutely blown away,
So unless we're missing something this seems Sony may have actually lied about the specs on this, because it's clear there is a dramatic difference between the two. I can't confirm that, because I havent actually seen Sony officially release specs anywhere, just heard through gaf specs are the same. The whole thing seems odd to me, almost as if they realised the old camera wasn't up to speed to track clearly. Probably didn't anticipate the new camera would experience the same issue.
Most issues are fixable with FW update, keep your PSVR unless you are not really interested in console VR.
Same. My camera is even right under the bedroom light.
It's the old camera though, if that matters.
M2. Using Philips HUE lights too without any sunlight. Sitting about 3m infront of the TV. I had the camera on top of the TV for a day and that was horrible. Camera just beneath my TV has been flawless. Sitting away about 2,5 - 3m
Outside of turning around in Job Simulator, no tracking or drift issues at all. That particular game is just asking too much from the technology.
No tracking issues.
Have had my unit for a week now. Not a single tracking issue.
I have my camera mounted on top of the TV, headset and DS4 are tracked perfectly. Only time I had slight issue is during london hiest gameplay when I went out of playing range with my move wand, issue fixed itself immedialy after coming back to range.
Thanks. Got some overpriced ones from CEX in the end.Have a look round some cash converters and the like, they usually have stuff like that on the cheap.
Ugh, this just makes me super jealous.
How far back do y'all play from? My wobble/worbble issue goes away at 3 feet or less. But that means grabbing a chair from my dining room whenever I want to play :-/
Also, no matter where I sit, the controller tracking is terrible in nearly everything (haven't tried move yet). And if the controller is brought past my face, the entire image will momentarily shift around.
Fuck it, I'll ride it out. Maybe Sony releases a camera FW to fix it.

Kitchen is free in US, though I'm not sure if you can download a standalone demo or it only comes with the free demo disc (also downloadable on PSN)Hi!

I sit away 3 meters. I have the new camera. The camera is a shit of piece (technologywise) so it doesn't surprise me that people have problems when they sit away too far. At demo stations the camera was never more than 1,5m away from me.

I had some massive drift problems in Robot Rescue last night. Tried plugging the headset directly into the breakout box and turning off the living room light and went into Rez...worked nearly flawlessly. I'm going to have to try keeping the lights off and use the extension cable again from the couch (about 5~6 feet away from camera) but I'm wondering if the cable itself might be the problem.
