PlayStation VR2 |OT| I heard it has a single cable. Is this true?

What is currently your most anticipated game?

PSVR2 2025 edition - now wireless! Funny how many rumors there are of a new SKU around the corner that will be free of wires.

I just realized I have no ideas at all. Here's some dumb shit to get this rolling

We’ve come a long way since View Master.

They say the eyes are the window to the head.

Just a reminder for anyone who uses discord. Please join developer channels for VR titles. We truly are the QA and devs rely on us for QA and bug reports. It's lame but that's the world we live in.

Skydance acknowledged the cooldown meter disconnect I mentioned in an earlier post and they are going to look into it. Bonus points if you have footage. It's so easy to capture footage on PS5.

We're all in the together Gaf, lol.

I remember trying to think of some names when you brought up a title change before.

If we think of some goods ones to choose then we can have a mod change it.

Post 206 way back at launch. I don't remember that so that means I might have said it again tho.

After 206 there were a few suggestions. It's been a long time so might as well start fresh?

Works for me.

The first thing that came to mind was the old PS2 slogan of "Live in your world. Play in ours." and how it kind of makes more sense now than it ever did.

Or maybe something about having the device on your face lol

I want to think of something funny about eye tracking.

^^^Oh i already forgot about the cluster thing.

It's okay I think I'm going to get some games instead while they're on sale.

And holy crap shopping on the ps website might be worse than on the console. Son of a bitch. I wish all my console bros could try steam for a month. They'd be at sony's door with pitchforks.

Dunno if you will be able to read the topic though. But lots of changes!

Wow. Good they are working on it, but those changes read like "we're still finishing the game" changes.

Lots of bug fixes but the balance stuff is the interesting part. Looks like most of it is geared towards loosening execution requirements. So with less than a week of feedback, they are going so hard in that direction.

I want to go in and try again, but my problems with the game are mostly not about their execution. It was more of a "what did I expect?" kind of disappointment.

I think it feels great now. They definitely did something with the weight of the sword, it feels so much better. Axe feels a touch top heavy but that's smoother too and more reliable when destroying shields (axes are effective at breaking shields).

Game is starting to feel like a total dime. I'm just past the 2nd mini boss in the 2nd area, so the really tanky enemies haven't arrived yet but I think combat is going to be incredibly fun in the more difficult sections rather than frustrating and sloppy. Curious about the jank during the 2nd behemoth fight but now that I know the pattern, it will be smoother regardless.

I'm playing this game and having a blast, despite the basic graphics and the good enough but it could be much better resolution. Gameplay is great, gunplay is among the best and I'm loving playing the campaign and the DLCs in coop with my brother (it is crossplay). It is a short but sweet game.
Part 2 is great, it's incredibly similar to the 1st game but the inclusion of Buddy the dog really makes it a memorable game. Great script. It's coop too of course.

Anyone else hype as F for Arken Age?

Same developers made a medieval action/adventure that's on PSVR, I own it but haven't played it. I know its highly regarded though.

Really no point to this post, just super hyped for Arken Age and I generally dont get hyped. It just looks so freaking good and possibly the GOAT VR title for the time being.

They have been posting videos of the weapons and I'm liking what I'm seeing! I think it will be a cool game.

The thing that has me so hyped is that you have gunplay with customizable weapons, physics based melee and it looks responsive like Legendary Tales, you also have two wall climbing tools and it sounds like you can climb anywhere. There's also swimming and free jump. Devs say full 15 hour campaign and I think a horde mode maybe. It seems like it has everything, and it takes advantage of PSVR2 features and runs at a native 90.

I’m leaving Behemoth until I’ve finished a few games.
I’ve got a really bad habit of playing games for a few hours and then abandoning them for the next new shiny thing.

I’m going to complete Metro first. Then I’ve got the Walking Dead or possibly Batman. More than enough to be getting on with.

There is that new extremely shiny Aliens game on the horizon.

It so awesome to see that there is more activity in this thread, so i thought its time to make some tribute to it.

I bought psvr back in the days 2016, and have loved it since day one, my wife tested it first in the store, it was the demo were you go down deep in the water in a cage and there is a shark encounter.... she took of the headseat, looked at me and said; if you try this, you will buy this, i know you.

I tried it, i said wow this was cool but i wont buy it right away, its to expensive....

I went to the store the day after.......... she knows me.

Well, i still play psvr sometimes, because there is some good games that aint ported to psvr2 yet, Astro Bot Rescue Mission - actually one of the best vrgames that has been made, they must port it to psvr2! We have blood and truth, and theres a lot more, but this tread is about PSVR2.

So here goes nothing, my thoughts about games that i have played and that i think is a mustbuy;

Rhytmgames, one of my most played genre, i just love rhythmgames so Beat Saber (i am an extrem Metallicafan so will buy the dlc today) Pistol Whip, Synth Riders, Drums Rock, Trombone Champ Unflattened are all awesome and a must buy imo, so much fun there.

Other "smaller" games i really love are Crisis Brigade 2, Gun Club VR (this one i really really love including all dlc)

Tetris Effect, perfect when you really want to leave this crazy world for a moment.

Two of my most recent games i bought are Vertigo 2 and Hellsweeper.

Vertigo 2 is just amazing, it feels like som kind of HaflLife clone, and its really well done, and long, maybe 15h campaign, Hellsweeper is a rougelike with awsome mechanics and aaaaa lot of content, a game were you feel really badass playing it, topnotch.

After The Fall; i think this one deserves some love, i play it mostly by myself, with randoms, works really well, it has a very nice feel and its so fun to play.

And ofcourse, the king; Gran Turismo 7, i am not the biggest racingfun! But, after playing GT7, i bought a simrig (lol) first time ever i own wheels etc, but damn, and playing GT7 in my rig in VR, thats.... thats something else i promise you.

There is a lot more but this is just some thoughts of what i love and play, my next game will be Pavlov, just wating for a sale =) also Red Matter 1,2 and upgrade Saint and Sinners to Ps5, because i have not played that much yet.

But, if i would make a top3 mustbuy instantly when you have bought i PSVR2 is;

1. Beat Saber
2. Pistol Whip
3. Gran Turismo 7

Well, its weekend and some freetime, i am gone go and play the hell out of the new music pack to Beat Saber, i probably gonna play From Whom the Bell Tolls 60 times, just today....

Happy gaming everyone.

edit; english are not my native language, so be kind xD

Demeo Battles will release before the end of the year! Just confirmed by the devs!

So stocked for this! I have 89 hours on the regular Demeo and still play it from time to time. One of the finest games in VR imo.

No you can play completely solo. Actually I play that way a lot: you can play from 1 to 4 heroes with no restrictions. But know that the community is really cool and I always had a blast playing with randoms.

If you love tactical RPGs, this is a masterpiece imo. So much depth and replayability (and tons of things to unlock).

For Demeo Battles, the game is designed around PVP but there is also dozens of solo challenges apparently. But if you only want to play alone, then buy vanilla Demeo instead.
