Hi,
I've done some trades with Gaffers in the past so I hope I can find some people to help me fill out my Pokedex.
For now, I am looking for 2nd Gen starters like Totodile and Chikorita. For those, I could breed them and return them.
Also looking for Archen, the 2nd fossil Pkmn in W/B.
I have good stuff to offer, I don't really know what are the hot stuff now.

The only full, non disconnect match I've had all day was the one I lost.

Edit: I actually got into another match with one of the rage quitters. I gave him the bennefit of the doubt and went through with the match. Sure enough, once I dealt the final blow.. "The connection with the other person has been lost". :/

I just had a battle with one. T'was pretty funny, since he had so many wins (134) and experience, I was expecting a super hard battle.
First Turn: Whimsicott + Mienshao
Both of my starters are super weak to this combo. So I switch one, use Protect on the other, his Whimsicott's Flamethrower (?!?) fails, and Mienshao misses the High Jump Kick due to no effect and crashes.

That took a lot less time than I thought to get a decent one, a few hours produced this:
Nidoran-M - #032 (Modest)
HP: 23 - 24
Att: 3 - 8
Def: 20 - 30
SpA: 31
SpD: 31
Speed: 20 - 22
I think I'll pick it back up tomorrow, but it's not too bad for an evening's work. There's a valuable lesson in this: breeding a dream world pokemon with a ditto results in NONE of the offspring having the dream world ability. It took me about seven eggs before I looked it up, Serebii & bulbapedia have conflicting information.

No, it really doesn't, at least not for nidoran-f. About half of the eggs from a pair of nidoran had the dream world ability, while zero eggs from a nidoran and a ditto had the dream world ability. Serebii claims that this is always the case, while Bulbapedia contradicts it.

Well, Sawk has better defenses than Mienshao, but slightly worse Speed. Movepools are similar, the abilities...Regenerator is good, Sturdy is good. Both have the same attack...Jamesfrom818 said:

Sheer Force only removes Life Orb recoil from moves that are boosted by Sheer Force (So if you used surf with Sheer Force and a Life Orb you would still take recoil but not if you did the same thing with flamethrower).upandaway said:

I finally finished EV training the last pokemon from gen IV and I can make the jump to gen V without any reservations. I have not tried the dream world yet so I'm excited about that. Battle subway is going to be fun as hell when I railroad those motherfuckers with all my well bred pokemon.

Does anything weird happen when you switch DS systems? If I remember correctly in D/P it reset your friend code and Pal Pad? Is this still the case?
