His best Johto Pokemon is clearly Heracross since it's the only one that made a contribution to the team during his rival battle with Gary.

If Ash put together a team of his toughest guys ever, Heracross would likely be on it.

Who are Ash's Top 6 Pokemon anyhow?

I mean it's pretty clear who the top 4 are

Pikachu, Charizard, Sceptile and Snorlax are pretty much undisputed as his big guns.

But who would fill slot 5 and 6 considering we have so many contenders

Heracross is a big hitter. After that maybe something like Kingler? That would make a pretty killer team.

Pikachu, Charizard and Sceptile are the legend killers on his team, and Infernape has an insane amount of plot armour (at least it did during DP). The final slots would go to Buizel/Oshawott and Swellow.

The worst kind of people. You can't make a Pokémon thread these days without having hundreds of them crawl out of the woodwork like so many tiny spiders. I'd be fine with them honestly, if they weren't usually massive hypocrites.

I also hate how those kind of fans can ruin other threads, too. Case in point: I was trying to have a discussion about which Pokémon should be in the next Smash Bros. game when people started drive-by posting that they should remove Lucario because he's only in to market Gen IV and put Mewtwo back in because "Lucario is obviously Mewtwo's replacement and Mewtwo is clearly superior because of he was made before Pokémon got bad," and that no other Pokémon should be in but Gen I 'mons because "the new ones aren't interesting enough to have a position on the roster."

Nope, I feel that way too. I can go back and play and enjoy G/S/C, but Gen I just feels so archaic and broken that I can't play it for anything other than a nostalgia trip. And since I feel more nostalgia from Silver anyways, there's no real point :p

Anyone feel that when it came to Generation III music on handhelds, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald leaned more towards orchestral music, while FireRed and LeafGreen tended to favour a rock sound and PSG?

Also, anyone ever tried out stereo audio in GSC? (Don't mention Yellow and its faked "stereo")

which is funny since the gen 3 gym leader theme lacked the horns while the gen 4 gym battle theme had then in BW2.

Oh, that reminds me - I do wonder who'll replace Lucario in [SSB 4]... depending on when it releases, it'll either feature someone from 5, or 6.

6 may be more/less likely, depending on which stage they are at in development. But we're pretty close to getting a first look so far, so it'll be close.

They didn't, though! Mewtwo was planned to be a playable character (his data was actually added to the game before Lucario and he had a working character model), but Sakurai didn't have the time and resources to finish him, Roy and Plusle/Minun (whose data is in the game too) because he was working on...

Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic was such a last-minute addition that they had to devote all of the time and resources that would have gone into the other three to make him from scratch. So if you want to blame anyone, blame Sonic.

Not gonna drudge up a bunch of tracks again (did that too many times it feel like), but G3 still has my favorite music, with BW2 being a close 2nd.

Hey pokegaf. I have soul silver coming in the mail and i would like some help.

I want to set up this team:

Infernape (naive)
Starmie (timid)
Torterra (adamant)
Togekiss (modest with serene grace)
Salamence (naive) with dragon dance
Tyranitar(jolly) with dragon dance pretty please

Basically asking for handouts. I hate to seem demanding but it woukd be awesome if i could get them hatched with advantageous natures.im basically asking for freebies and i really appreciate the time it takes to do this stuff.pm me if you wanna help.

Wow I'm kind of surprised both of you aren't including Snorlax in the top 6. That thing is a beast considering some of the battles it's had in the league and battle frontier.

I can see arguments for guys like Swellow who have amazing track records or Krookodile since it took down Iris's overpowered Dragonite but Lol at the mention of Oshawott even being remotely in his Top tier however.

Oshawott is funny and I love his personality but with his track record of wins being so abysmal he's not even fit to lick the likes of Squritles feet when it comes to battle prowess.

The only reason I kind of don't like Charizard and Infernape on the theoretical "best" team is that since they are both fire types Infernape becomes kind of redundant the same way it'd be silly for him to have Sceptile and Bulbasuar on his team at the same time.... Well except for the rare occasions when he's taking on a type specialist and having redundancy becomes an advantage rather then a liability.

Even that isn't enough to always stop people. While I can't find anything for Dwebble I've seen people in person who've had costumes that I never would have expected to be made costumable.

Speaking of Cosplay's how about some that Chet might like.
