It's the same position, but it looks a bit off - like how the fists don't quite press into the waist, they look as if they're floating right above, because of the lack of shadowing right underneath them. It changes the look a bit.

If GF ever did a Pokemon MMO, and did it well, that would be an awesome idea for a map.

I've been told by RBY players that he wasn't very good at wallbreaking back in the day. (It's pretty much never beating Starmie and Slowbro, and they're very common). Charizard was at its peak in GSC when Belly Drum legitimate strategy.
EDIT: For what it's worth, I like using Charizard in the lower tiers. It's seriously good!

Charizard wasnt too good in RBY, but in GSC he was great as a a SkarmBliss destroyer. The reason why I skipped RBY was because you don really hear the term wall breaker for that gen. But I suppose Rhydon/Golem were physical walls, and Chansey was the Special Wall.
What about Snorlax? Dude was the original wall

High HP in gen 1 didn't mean much when he had base 65 in both defenses and everything crit through his Amnesia.

I guess if there was a wallbreaker in RBY, it'd probably be Tauros
1.) Body Slam for Chansey, Alakazam, and Starmie
2.) Earthquake for Gengar
3.) Blizzard for Rhydon & Golem

It was actually more of an offensive threat
the high hp meant that ohkoing it was pretty much impossible outside of fighters.
Spamming Body Slam left & right and cleaning up teams with Hyper Beam
Also screwed me over a few times in Stadium as well. :|
