Use the power items, you can buy them in the subway and they give 4evs in one stat (depending on the item) and you get the evs of the pokemon you defeated too.

power stuff always gives you 4 of a particular EV after battle.

Macho Brave doubles your EV output, while power items add 4 EVs of a particular stat.

For example:

Patrat + Macho Brace + Pokérus = 4 Atk Evs.

Patrat + Power Bracer + Pokérus = 10 Atk EVs.
