Why is sleep a thing? One Pokemon put to sleep in 3v3 is pretty much GG. Fuck off Venusaur.

So if rejecting an egg really does reset the RNG, how do you guys do it? I can't help but think that egg might be the shiny, 6IV egg of my dreams!
Each egg has an independent chance of being shiny/6IV, so you could also think of rejecting it as getting you closer to another shiny/6IV egg.
Oh please tell me you still have one of these available.

That doesn't happen very often. Not when I somehow always send in 3 Pokemon that are all weak to the same thing. lol.
I still don't get 3v3. Seems like a crapshoot most of the time.

Personally, the good thing about 3 v 3 is it's bite size matches and much easier to fit the random EV trained Pokemons you have than a full 6 v 6 battle where you build dedicated teams. On the other hand, it's also almost offensively slugfest where a single crit, miss ( despite using a high accuracy move ), secondary effects etc. screw you up heavily.
Maybe that's why I prefers 6v6 on stimulator. Easier to choose what you want to use, pace of the battle is faster as well.
Just checked the IVs of my shiny Fennekin. 31/x/31/31/5/31. The Sp. Def could be better, but not bad.
Now that I've bred all three shiny Kalos starters, I should move onto something else. Do I go for another shiny, or should I finish up a team?

That, and I always end up having to waste my 3 slots on checks/counters to Rotom, Talonflame, Garchomp etc. leaving no room for the stuff I like.
I should try out the simulator one day. Getting a 6v6 battle in X/Y is too much work, unfortunately.
I haven't played that many Pokemon matches (I think I have 20 3v3s in-game, 30 6v6s on Pokemon Showdown, and about 10 doubles matches on Pokemon Showdown), but I personally don't like 3v3s because I never feel like I can get a good feel for the other player. The nice thing about 6v6 compared to 3v3s, in my opinion, is that it allows for some mistakes and a little experimenting. I feel like 3v3s, in comparison, are so fast and unforgiving that one bad read or switch can really mess you up. Trying to test the other player can end the game.
Well, those are just my impressions so far, and I haven't really played that many games yet :<. I'm not good either lol.

Unless there is a pre-evolution move past lvl 50, there really shouldn't be a problem since there really is no point in making any Pokemon evolve till they are at level 50 or just a few levels away from it.
It's just annoying when you want to try something different on your Pokemon. I have a dual-screens Espeon and I can't switch to a Baton Pass Espeon without rebreeding. I want to try Leaf Storm instead of Giga Drain or Petal Dance on Lilligant (I didn't know Petal Dance targeted random Pokemon in doubles), so I had to rebreed my Lilligant for HP Rock.
