Also any Rock/Water is a good counter to The Stupid Bird, Carracosta being my favorite. Kabutops, Barbarnacle, Omastar... All of them OHKO him without a sweat.

Had some competitive matches with a Smogon-obessed friend the other day. Talonflame w/ Gale Wings and Brave Bird is seriously infuriating - probably more so than Mega Kangaskhan. I managed to beat him a few times with my team though - never felt so good.
If I have the time, which I do this week, it's no problem my dude!

Nope, the 3DS keeps track of the last digital save internally, so you can't do save/restore shenanigans unless you hack your 3DS.
I clone with a OG 3DS with a physical copy of Y and on my 3DS XL is a digi copy of X

Is getting a 6IV Poke through breeding impossible? Someone above mentioned using the God ditto + a 5IV Poke will garner a 5IV child. Is that the maximum or is a 6IV child just extremely rare?

6 IV is possible. It's all according to your luck.
Getting a 6 (31)IV Pokemon is just RNG dependent. 1 out of the 6 IVs is random, while the rest are passed down from the parents.
There aren't many cases where you want a 6 (31) IV Pokemon. Ideally, for Special Atk focused Pokemon, the Attack IV is 0 so Foul Play would be weaker.
They are very useful for breeding within egg groups.
Fake out has +3 priority. It is more like Quick Guard, except no priority and blocks any non-priority non-status attack that comes from a Pokemon that Greninja outspeeds.
Ah crumbs. I'll have to find someone with a 3DS I can trust then.
I think it's a 1/32 chance of getting a 6IV child with a God Ditto and 5IV parent. That's what I heard anyway.
I've got a few 6IV pokemon from breeding with 2 5IV parents before I got hold the God Ditto

You lose the opportunity to select for nature by having one parent hold an Everstone.
As long as at least one parent holds a Destiny Knot, the child will draw five of its stats from the parents collectively, rather than three. Adding another won't do any extra.

But I didn't know that it was from the collective parent IV pool. So using a god Ditto with a non perfect pokémon won't guarantee 5 perfect IVs on an offspring? Hmm... but then everstone can pass the ditto nature... I'm conflicted on how I feel about that.
Just throw the knot on one of them and the stone on the one who has the nature you want to pass. Then replace the bad IV mon with better and better ones until you get 6.

Right. You've got twelve stats to pick from. The child will select five of them.
The good news is that it's pretty quick and easy to iterate once you've got one perfect parent. Say you've got your Ditto and a completely non-exceptional parent you want to breed with it. Half of your collective IV pool will be perfect and half will be junk. For each stat, you've got a 50/50 chance of the inherited IV coming from your Ditto. So your offspring will average about 2.5 perfect IVs each.
So you take one of those 3IV offspring and you toss it in there with the Ditto. Now you're working with a pool of 9/12 perfect IVs. So you can expect at least two perfect IVs per egg with an average of 3.75.
So you repeat that until you've got a 5IV parent and the Ditto. Somewhere along the line, keep an eye out for an offspring with the nature you want and drop an Everstone on it when you stick it in the daycare. At that point, most of your eggs should be 5IVs so you can just breed until the draw for the imperfect stat falls into the one you don't care about.

I view it more like a really restricted double protect, since your opponent can still set up on you if you use it and you don't break any potential focus sashes. It is pretty easy to play around.

I swear I've seen another, but I can't quite recall what it was. It may have been linked to that awesome journal style written let's play of one of the really crappy rom-hack games. I think maybe Topaz or something? It was a hack of Emerald for sure. If anybody knows what I'm talking about, btw, please speak up, because I'd love to reread that and absolutely can't remember what it was.
Edit: It was Pokemon Quartz. Now let's see if I can find/remember what the Nuzlocke I was thinking of is. One sec...
Edit-edit: Geez, I'm trying really hard to remember. I think they had some extra rules on top of normal Nuzlocke to make it harder, and I believe at some point during it they may have got a shiny? I'll keep looking.

This is very true about it being a two for one. Just need to breed a shiny now haha
They aren't trading Magikarp to be spiteful, at least; people have been trying to breed Moxie Gyarados, so keep a lookout on the ability of the Magikarp you receive. If it has the Rattled ability, it will become a Moxie Gyarados. But even if it just has Swift Swim, you can tell that the person tried to breed for a Rattled Magikarp if it's at level 1.
Personally, it's the level 15 Luvdisc that get annoying. And the elemental monkeys, who are almost always from Santalune Forest and NEVER from the Friend Safari.
I wasted my entire evening reading this instead of learning... Beedrill is awesome though.

Damn so no one can help give me a zorua? I really want to breed it for shiny as Im on a streak. Got an shiny eevee and totodile in less than 24 hours.

I've noticed that I get way, waaaaay too many Froakie and Fletchling from Wonder Trade. Even though they're often blatantly breeding rejects, which can be cool, I just have WAY too many. I was hoping that things would get a bit better since Bank is (kind of) out, but it's only improved ever so slightly. Oh well, I guess I'll try to find a good time to at least get some more Japanese Pokemon later...
