Is it? Doesn't it depend on the speed of the pokemon.
Both me and my opponent once used Sucker Punch on each other, but he had a faster pokemon and went first, making mine fail.

They're both the same priorty, but Sucker Punch has to go first against any other damaging attack to work.

Knock Off doesn't get its effect or boost against anything with a mega stone. I'd think Knock Off would be way too strong if it did.

That would make megaevos a mid-risk hyper high reward instead of being just an autosaiyan roflstomping mechanic.

I think the easy solution here is to just keep the Pokemon mega evolved after it happens. Since Mega Evolution happens before anything else I think its fair to allow Trick/Switcheroo/Knock Off to stop Megas on a switch in. Would be a nice addition to help balance out the madness.
