Ying, Yang- yeah- but a nice crystalized box with white everything or black everything would look awesome. Having the other characters switched might cause some consumer confusion in which version is white or black.

Also the white one now looks tacky- last the Japanese preorder box- the black one looks much better now :/

In Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, Ruby had Latios (which is blue) and Sapphire has Latias (which is red). I know it's not the main legendary, but it's not the first time they've done this.

While Zekrom looks a lot like Palkia, he is still pretty awesome. As for Reshiram, he didn't look that good in the beginning but now he is growing on me.

Overall pretty good legendary designs.
 
The colours have been inverted from the beginning.
IIRC white had the black logo text and white had black text.
Nontheless, who can there be confusion when the Pokemon in the game is on the box?
Just choose the Pokemon you want from the shelf.
 
Unless Black version has some real good exclusive pokes, looks like I'm getting White. Zekrom is a much better design, though Reshiram isn't too bad.
 
I'm a little iffy on Reshiram, but I'm definitely digging Zekrom.

I'll echo the sentiment that they are leagues better than the Dialga and Palkia.

That's disappointing... I'll have to pick up white, then, despite liking black more. But it's really like I'm picking black when their mascots are switched.

Not horrible designs, but they're pretty bland, and not really... Pokemon-ish. Then again, neither were half the 4th gen legendaries.

Since the reveal no one gave a shit about this and some even thought it was cool. A single person in the thread said he thinks it's stupid, which somehow led you to see an "amount of rage" and "people" whining.

Edit: upandaway seems to dislike it too. I still fail to see any sort of rage though.

Reshiram looks kind of like a cross between Articuno and Arceus or something.

Not really getting the Digimon comments.

lol, you're too quick. I was saying the same thing though, I was basically just changing "one person" to "two" but since you quoted the previous post I edited it back. :lol But anyway, maybe you could have direct quoted them with that post, it's more fun this way.

Mijimaru for life! ^_^ I like both of the new legends for different reasons. Reshiram because it's all white, simple, and could be a pure flying type. Zekrum because he has both wings and arms and looks cool, and is on the box of the version I'm buying. =D

I agree, this shit is a stupid attempt to sidestep possible racial overtones if they had a black Pokemon in the black version and a white one in the white version.
