Remember, this map isn't to scale. The starting town is represented by only two buildings, while in the screenshot we can see at least three. The region won't be as barren as this map makes it look, and I'm certain this isn't the entirety of Isshu. Game Freak are probably just pulling another Sinnoh on us, where they initially only showed half the map.

We know the game will support the tag thing on 3DS from that Iwata Asks if I understood correctly. Also this game will have DSi enhancements correct? All this means one can't import the game on its Japanese release unless they have a Japanese DS, correct?

Iwata listed Pokemon as a good game to use it

Iwata also said Animal Crossing would be perfect for WiiConnect24 because you could open shops and people could go to your town even when your Wii is not on. Like, he went in to really specific details.

He is the best CEO in the industry but he gets waaaay ahead of himself sometimes.

Zorua and Zoroark remain a Dark-type even after they change, so I guess someone could create a strategy around that.

I'm not sure if this ability is an actual transformation ability or just an illusion. It would be pretty crazy if he maintained his own stats and moveset but had the appearance of another Pokemon.

Dunno if this has been explained already or not. I need to catch up on the news for this game.

EDIT: Okay, just read the Smogon B&W thread. Seems that I was correct and that this guy just copies the appearance of the next guy in line on your team. That is AWESOME. His stats also seem to be comparable to Lucario.

Ahaha, holy shit. That means there would be strategy in how and where you switch your Pokemon around during the battle. Whenever you switch, the new order is reflected on your party screen, and to use Zoroark well you'd have to make sure that that second slot is occupied by something worth mimicking.

I was thinking this happened for enemy Zoroaks and that they would get the pokemon in your second slot's moveset as well. So my line of thinking was that it would be funny to face a random Ditto enemy who uses tranform to turn into your first Pokemon, but in reality is really a Zoroak.

If it works that a Zoroak you use looks like your second Pokemon but keeps its moves and everything else then it seems its more a thing used for mindgames in trainer battles where you make them think they are facing something they aren't.

I think the JP box showed the TWL product code, which means the game will be region locked on the DSi. You will be able to play the JP game on a DS/DSLite though, just not a non-JP DSi.

I'm probably alone in Hoenn being my favorite region to trek through, played through the main game about 12 times... I'd say it's the least likely to be revisited just because it'll probably be remade soon anyway.

They could always make two completely new regions,:lol although that's being more than hopeful.

Thanks for the quick response! That also makes the most sense, the character really has an evil look to him. It would be great to have a rival who's not exactly nice again, despite that I liked Barry. Wally was just horrible.
