Pokemon sequel is under development for DS

That's what that reminded my of. It was bugging me. :lol I think I've seen it somewhere else too.

Man, Gen fanboys are hilarious in general. Makes you wonder how they'd make Pokemon with that mindset!

2. keep that Digimon bullshit outta my Pokeymanz! >:[

1. Digimon ain't bullshit :P
2. Fusion isn't particularly unique in Digimon. It's more prominent in Monster Rancher if anything, since in Digimon it's only temporary :3

thank you. It was really bugging me that I could not figure out why it seemed so familiar.:D

Can you imagine if Pokemon like Magmar, Mr.Mime, and Poliwrath were introduced this gen? They would receive so much criticism it's not even funny.

Well unless the pokemon people have realized this and decided to give old pokemon like that preevolutions and evolutions. Though, lol, I havent really seen people sport Magmortars.

But I think people want Tauros, Farfetch'd, Mr.Mime, Jynx, Sandslash, and Pinsir evolutions.
But I guess that was beyond the scope of the post.

Smugleaf's Evo has tiny arms =0 Are they actually smaller than its stage 1 arms? Will stage 3 actually have any arms or legs?

Makes sense for it to have a similar evolution path as a real snake, I guess!

So far, I think smugleaf may be my favourite starter.

I really hope it ends up like Gyarados, badass leaf leviathan shit.

It should. Since it is neogaffer's guess that the black and white location is at "China." so they should have three starters related to mythology or Zodiac.

So I can see that we will have boar and serpent, but I could be wrong tho due to otter.

That's giving Gamefreak way too much credit.

What ARE they doing with all that money?

lol, well speaking of Gyrados, I wonder if it stands any chance of getting a third evolution form. I think the games are vastly underpopulated with Dragons still.
Gyarados is not a Dragon because that would make him overpowered. That's pretty much the only reason.

And knowing that you want to give him an evolution? Furthermore, one that is a Dragon type?

Gyarados evolution? Yeah, that could happen. Might as well give Rhydo- oh...

But yeah, I'm also hoping for the grass starter to end up going Grass/Dragon.

I hope Black and White addresses the imbalanced type distribution we have at the moment. You're always spoiled for choice in Water and Normal type Pokemon, but for Fire? Generally there's so few that it really lowers your options.

Really want to see a lot of Fire types this time. More Ice and Dragons would be kind of nice too.

I'd love a Fire Racoon :p

Dragons must be rare IMO.

Keep these rare please. I'd rather not risk GF making more Garchomps for the same of having more Altarias. :/

Altaria needs an evolution more than anything.

I would agree with that too, lol. Ive yet to be able to fit it with my Dragonite, Garchomp, Salamence team. None of the fan art for potential altaria evolutions look that appealing.

Odd, it would be great if Eevee could evolve to dragon type

I appreciate that, but I believe more Ice pokemon would balance it out, if they were smart. I'm only talking maybe 3 or 4 evo chains for each type. And dual-type Dragons could be balanced with other weaknesses.

Oh wells, we'll have to see what GF does.

they sould make more effective normal types. there are a shitload of normals but few usable.

Not to sound like a crazy cat lover, but I'd also love to see a Delcatty evo. Normalize has such awesome potential but it's stuck to a 'meh' Pokemon.

PURUGLY... WHY??!?!?!

So I got bored and had a lot of plasticine left over from something I had been working on, so I made this:

He's pretty adorable at this size. I'm tempted to make a Wotter now.

I just want my awesome Normal/Dark Persian evo. Then it can finally get STAB on it's useful moves.

Agreed.

There's a good number of Gen 1 Pokemon that really could use a nice evo to keep them in the game. And I just like Persians, any way. :D

A japanese blogger went to an early screening of Movie 13 and saw a promo of Black/White:

Translation is from pokebeach:

For a moment you can see the battle scene for a new Pokemon called Nezumimi. By the way, is that Chinchilla Pokemon a rodent or a cat? I wouldn't say Nezumimi couldn't possibly be of the same evolutionary line... but then again it was only one instant so I have no idea. [In other words, they're saying the new Pokemon Nezumimi and the chincilla Pokemon Chiramii look similar.] Last time we saw the roller coaster but in this trailer we also see the Ferris Wheel. At the end of the commercial an unnamed Pokemon is waving to us. It has big eyes and pointed ears. It kind of looked like this drawing I made to the right. I think a part of the ears were orange, but I forgot how the body looked.

At the end of the movie, Reshiram and Zekrom are shown in the preview for next year's movie.] Reshiram's tail spouts fire like a jet engine and it flaps its wings to fly. Of course, Fire-type. Zekrom's tail is like Mobile Suit Gundam 00's, what is it called, solar furnace? And the inside glows blue-white, like it is generating electricity inside its body. Of course, Electric-type.

This might be a DSi feature or something non-pokemon related. From the guys blog:
Furthermore, DSi with videophone.
Four simultaneous TV phone with someone on the split screen four.

lol, darn I dont have a DSi! Though I guess fortunately, the 3DS will be able to embrace that feature too (if its what that quote leads one to believe).

New Pokemon revealed in trailer for the movie.
Crude image included.
