Well, I think it's because the baby Kangaskhan is helpless without the mother.

Also, I want to see baby Lugia darn it!
But its completely weird to have a Kangaskhan hatch from an egg with a baby Kangaskhan:lol

Gen V is actually a SRPG made with NIS.
oh god no

Two dev teams that can not bring themselves to move past their cashcows but only Gamefreak has still managed not to mess up what made their series fun in the first place.

i dunno maybe pokemon could have like 5 evolutions instead of the 3 that most of them have. imagine if charizard evolved again at lvl 100 then again at lvl 350

I think he would be weaker. Idk if you noticed, but the levels are like parallels to age.

Basic pokemon are kids, cute and frail. Squirtle

Stage 1s are like teenagers, awkward and immature. Wartortle lv 16

Stage 2s are prime condition, totally badass.. Blastoise lv 36

I think you're thinking too much into that. :lol

Oh for the love of God, no. It's already boring and tedious enough to raise a pokemon to level 99, the level of grind needed to reach that point would be ludicrous. Plus, I'm still hoping that the changes they make for gen 5 are done in the direction of streamlining the Pokemon world, not making it even more complicated with tons of levels of evolution. Figure out how to do more with less, not more with more.

As it is, yes it's annoying. If there are better areas to grind, it could be doable.

Not saying it should go as high, though.

to make better areas to grind, they need to give these areas trainers with competition teams and the ability to fight them right after you beat them. cause we all know that the wild pokemon are worthless after the gyms.

Please, please Nintendo, instead of adding another hundred useless Pokémons, please pretty please make most of the Pokémons competively viable. Is it really that hard to add some balance to the game? I'm so sick of Blissey everytime I see it I feel like puking.

Also if you could add difficulty levels: Normal and Hard so grown ups that still like Pokémon can have some challenge, just a thought.

they don't need difficulty levels. just give every trainer a boost to your post game levels. every time you level up, they level up. so you can always face trainers equal to you. and add some post game DLC. add new lands and shit. I'm tired of having to go to the battle frontier for some decent battles. besides, they are too full of bullshit. and their is no gain from it. points? to hell with your points! I battle for cold hard cash. pony up bitches!

I would prefer to re-challenge every trainer, even the ones in the gyms. Even at 30-35 it's hell to grind without trainers.

I second this. I've always had a bitch of a time trying to train Pokemon that weren't in my party during my initial run through of the game.

Was this ever posted? :lol

I think they still need to add Difficulty Levels, and actually make Trainers Battles challenging, for example they could have rules like in the Anime, like 1vs1, 2vs2 and 3vs3, so you can't use our six Pokémons to beat the only one a Trainer have (not you like you need to do that, though), maybe even limited changes like if it is 3vs3 you can only change Pokémon two times. If they do something like this, then instead of fainting you only lose money or something like that.

That's fine for stuff like Battle Frontier, but not in the main game.

The fifth generation Pokemon games were literally just announced on the official Pokemon website - they will be named Pokemon Black and Pokemon White! They will be released in fall for the Nintendo DS and new information will be released about them on April 15th on their new official website. However, Pokemon Sunday and CoroCoro magazine will likely have information regarding them later this week. How exciting!

.

More info next week! YAY

Pokemon
White
Version is better.

I always like the "second" version more anyways. :lol It started with Blue and continued through Silver, Sapphire, Pearl, and SuperiorSilver. Yellow was kinda the odd man out...

Truthfully I do like white better. All my friends liked black cause it was "cool", so maybe I just wanted to be different.

No racism in this post.

The logo redesign and return to basic colors seems like a good idea, to me. I have a feeling some changes are in store for Pokemon (even if it's only in presentation).

Can someone translate? It says we're going to be seeing something new on April 15th, but I can't read the string of kanji after "new".

It just says that new information will be announced on April 15th (Thursday).

Didn't even notice the logos! That does indeed look good. And going back to colors definitely could mean something... That combined with the "circle of life" image they put out a while back... hrm...
