eh, are we suppose to get information today? I know i am psyched to see what is our starter pokemons but I really hope that it is fighting, dark and psychic since it would be something different.

That would be fine, except Psychic doesn't touch Dark at all. With the Fire, Grass, and Water relationship in circle all of the types can affect each other in some way or another whether it's resistant or super effective. With the Psychic, Dark, and Fighting relationship it isn't like that.

It's pretty impressive in its fakeness. I actually think that the fake starters not quite matching the silhouettes (because they're posed differently) is a nice touch. Isn't the Japanese text in the background just gibberish, though?

They need to reboot Pokemon. I know every game is basically a remake/reboot, but I mean simplify things and get rid of a lot of the junk that's built up. I find it's gotten less accessible to new players.

Also, the opening cutscenes last way too long, with too much talk, they should add an option to skip it for experienced players.

Still I feel like evolutions have more leeway. The basic evolution should be the most animal-like. I just don't think they would design a platypus pokemon and then go "Oh shit this thing needs ears." I would like a platypus but a river otter is much more likely based on the silhouette.

I was referring to the fact that the argument "animal-like" is used to protect gen 1 when, like the human-like argument, gen 1 suffers from many "non-animal like".
