Jet Grind Radio! said:Well, GameFreak does tend to try to "explain" certain in-game things, such as evolutions that need certain items, locations, or moves.
Jet Grind Radio! said:Actually there are a few moves that hit without fail of different types, like Magical Leaf. It does do STAB, but I kinda hope that stuff like Double Team has a negative effect on the caster as well. Something like decreased accuracy, but not as much as the "target."
I agree on Thunder Wave, but Confuse Ray's accuracy is about 85%, isn't it?Xux said:Stealth Rock being of an element that's super effective against other types is pretty annoying in how it eliminates certain Pokemon from competition.
I also think they should limit strong/Toxic-level poison to Poison-type Pokemon.
And make Thunder Wave and Confuse Ray have way less accuracy. And have Pokemon wake up from being attacked. And redo all of the held items. And make Poison super effective against Water.
And stuff.
I know. Why the fuck doesn't it's evolutionary line have Levitate?PounchEnvy said:Yeah but why are some Magnemite affected by Earthquake? Are they just chilling on the floor?
ANYTHING "evasion" based should be removed from existence. I'm fine with moves such as Aerial Ace, etc but Double Team and the like is such bullshit. Get rid of it.Jet Grind Radio! said:Fuck Double Team and other accuracy based moves.

However, attacking moves should increase the chances of waking up sleeping pokemon.

Supersonic on the other hand...Xux said:Nope, it's always had 100% accuracy.
Then it would be too awesome. Besides, it already learns Magnet Rise.Mush said:I know. Why the fuck doesn't it's evolutionary line have Levitate?
Stupid Pokemon logic.
Really? Huh. Yeah, nerf that.Xux said:Nope, it's always had 100% accuracy.
But... it's floating in the air? ABOVE THE GROUND. IT MAKES NO SENSE.viciouskillersquirrel said:Then it would be too awesome. Besides, it already learns Magnet Rise.
The mystery of the Cubone/Marowak/Kangaskhan family tree will finally be solved.Andrex said:I'd personally rather them clean house with the evolution process of some Pokemon before they go delete moves.

Can someone post that comic strip again?Mush said:The mystery of the Cubone/Marowak/Kangaskhan family tree will finally be solved.
Damn, this is one of the worst opinions so far! I can understand people not liking Sceptile most out of the grass starters (though saying it is worse than Meganium is a blasphemy), but out of all these Pokemon you chose.... Garchomp?ColtraineGF said:Well, it's nice to get a wide range of opinions![]()

I want to save it!
Halycon said:Well some people spend time breeding stealth rock for their uber 31 IV team. It's a bit unfair to take it away from them completely.

That's completely irrelevant. If it makes the game better to take a move away, then fuck them and their whiny bitchy selves.Halycon said:Well some people spend time breeding stealth rock for their uber 31 IV team. It's a bit unfair to take it away from them completely.
Twig said:But what if in deleting it they balance it better than they ever could by nerfing it?
There is such a thing as having too much shit. When all you do is add add add add, you get to a point where you've added too much. Eventually you have to delete to keep it balanced.
THEM'S THE BREAKS.
Then again logic has no value when it comes to emotional attachment.
fuck them and their whiny bitchy selves.
While I would find it incredibly amusing if they did (seriously, who the fuck lets themselves get so worked up over something like this that they become "pissed off"), that is not my intention.Holy Order Sol said:Oh okay, you just want people to get pissed off over this.
Type? Usually water. Depends on how they go with HMs this time, cause for example generations 2 and 3 had three water HMs, while DPPt had only one.ZZMitch said:What is the best type of Pokemon to use as hm slaves?
It sort of depends on which game you are playing. Look at this page to find the right one for you:ZZMitch said:What is the best type of Pokemon to use as hm slaves?
Jet Grind Radio! said:Ugh. I want certain HMs to only be used outside of battle, while certain ones used in battle. Surf, Cut, Fly are really good in battle, but Whirlpool? Fuck that noise.
ColtraineGF said:I dont mind HMs too much, primarily because the few that I actually have to have with me all the time are useful as moves to have, in general.
For example, in HGSS, Fly, Surf, Strength, Waterfall and Rock Smash are okay moves to have. As for Whirlpool, I used that HM all of twice, so I just stuck it on a Tentacool (?) and tool it with me to the Whirl Islands and Dragon's Den, then put it away forever. Same with Flash and Cut.By the time I really needed to delete one of the HM moves I had, I was already at Blackthorn, so no problem there.
Diglett's Cave wasn' so bad, primarily because I remembered that you needed Cut to get to Pewter City anyway (from the originals), and that was the reason I caught a Bellsprout anyways.
In Platinum, same thing went for Fog Clear (useless), which I put on a Zubat. I useed it once, at Mt. Coronet, and that was it. At the other foggy place I just rode my bike straight through there.
I guess if GF was keeping the whole HM thing (which I'm 100% sure they will), they could have, as an option, the move forgetter guy earlier on in the main quest.
