Just realized we're gonna be seeing the girl in the anime next season, companioning with Ash. Makes sense that she's older, maybe they'll officially confirm Ash is getting older for the first time since Johto ended.

After sinking in a little, I seriously love the water starter the most. It's definitely the most designed compare to the two other generic looking ones. Though I am a little concern to see how the final evolution of it will look like. Some kind of fat ugly white mother pig.

Anyway, a few pages back there was a discussion about getting rid of HMs. What I'd like to see happen is for each Pokemon to learn every move we teach it by leveling up or using TMs or whatever, but only four at a time can be used in battle. That way we can try out new moves and experiment more without regretting it later.

I've been catching up on watching it (seen most of Galactic Battles now) and it's honestly pretty decent. 75%+ filler, but it's still entertaining. Dawn, Piplup and Mamoswine are actually pretty funny.

The grass starter kicks ass, and if the evolutions follow suit it'll be the first time I don't find the grass starter line absolutely abhorrent (Sceptile fanboys back off).

Of course, me being as predictable as I am, I'm 100% going with Fire Sausage. Cause come on. Fire.

Yup, although I'm thinking B&W will advance things past RSE/DPPt (just based on the main characters' ages, if they interact with any of the main characters from past games it'd make sense for them to all be around the same age. At least, to me it does.)

Either that or it's a prequel like the rumors say.

Tsutaja (whose name I assume implies "Ivy Snake") might be a take on garter snakes, combined with the vegetative aspect of ivy. The leaf on its tail is quite similar to the leaves on ivy, and I think the limbs, while odd for what it is, have a plant-like quality to them (not that I'm trying to defend them or say I understand why it has arms+legs). I wouldn't be surprised if its evolutions were based on the green tree python and the green anaconda.

Haven't been this interested in a starter in a while, mostly because I find snake pokemon kinda boring, but they have a chance to make something a bit more interesting here and use stuff I've been waiting to see.

I can see Pokabu becoming a badass flaming boar (well, it might be badass), and I'm interested in Mijumaru's evolutions because I want to know what this thing is supposed to turn into.
