Pokemon sequel is under development for DS

First time that the version mascot legendaries have been an improvement over the previous game instead of part of a continuous decline. Progress, even if it is baby steps.

Dialga/Palkia had pretty great battle music but I can't stand to look at either of them.

They look alittle less robotic than the DS ones so that's kinda cool. I hope they are more brand new Pokemon this time around rather than, evolution/pre evolutions. That's what I didn't like about most of the Johto and Sinnoh Pokemon.

I disagree. Take Mewtwo, give him stone skin and a fancy tail, and you've got something very close to the dark legendary in general style. Digimons have all kinds of attachments and bells added to their basic design.

Both Groudon and Kyogre looked far better than the rainbow turkey that was Ho-oh's design.

That is a generation 1 Digimon. The 1st forms usually weren't very weird, but, any later, and most digimons started getting a bunch of random attachments, and almost every single one of them had them by the 3rd form... either that, or they just looked like men in suits.

To be honest I'm surprised the look of the legendary Pokemon are changing so many people's minds about what version to get.

It's the sort of thing where you are drawn to a certain game based on its boxart, I think.

Like me choosing Red because of Charizard, or Soul Silver because of Lugia.
 
Reshiram looks like the clouds when something rips through it and Zekrom looks like the thing ripping through the clouds.

I can't decide which one I want.
Not that I ever use legendaries anyway...
 
I am loving Jet Engine Zekrom! But this mean White gets the Black legendary and Black gets the White legendary? D:
 
On a related note, please, please, PLEASE stop comparing the new Pokemon to Digimon. Seriously, you are all acting like you know Digimon, though you probably only watched the first season.

Seriously, even Lucario doesn't look like a Digimon!

I don't like Zekrom being on the white version but I guess it will be like with GS were the 2nd version is the better one (I wanted Black . . . but I guess its cool seeing as I like the Girl Trainer more and she is likely called "White").

I could see Zekrom being Dark/ Dragon! And the white one being . . . Psychic/ Dragon? Maybe also Dark Dragon . . . or Dark/ Flying.

And BOO at Spring release. >:'(
 
Yeah, the Pokemon -> Digimon comparisons. I used to do that when I was younger. I've always liked the fact that all the names digimon ended with "mon", so I would add mon to the end of my Pokemon's names. Pikamon, Rizardmon, Hypnomon, etc.

Man I really want the White Version because black is considered one of those "badass" colors and I hate that but the Black Digi er... Pokemon looks way more pleasant that the White one.

edit: I don't know the Black one looks like an Agumon digivolution and the White one looks like it could be a digivolution for Kudamon:

One has to be careful when responding in fear that I may set off the Political Correctness alarm. So while PC gamers call themselves a master race, I don't think us supporters of Pokémon White should start giving ourselves the same title.
