So for those of you not familiar with Henderson, Nevada it is pretty much Las Vegas. You won't know when you cross the line between Las Vegas and Henderson and for all intents and purposes, we Las Vegas people still consider it part of that.

Anyways it looks like there is an area where we have streets named after Pokemon. We also have an area with streets named after Star Wars characters.

Developers of a Henderson neighborhood have named all the streets in the community after beloved Pokemon characters.

Skywalker Street is less cringeworthy than Jigglypuff Place. At least it's slightly more ambiguous out of context and you might not think anything of it. That's not quite as true for Anakin Avenue, but that's still better than Snorlax Lane.

A woman naming them because she thinks people will drive home after a stressful day and giggle is… odd. Is she a professional or a professional idiot? At best you get the odd weeb that likes the idea and puts a joker before what the property and location offers. Everyone else is going to groan and petition name changes.
