Haven't dived into it yet, but so far no pokedex, but I believe B2/W2 did the same thing where the spilt the Walkthrough and the pokedex.

They absolutely must have increased the shiny rate in this game. I've just got my first ever shiny after hundreds upon hundreds of hours of unsuccessfully trying to get one over the generations, and it happened to be what I was after (shiny female Espurr). The Friend Safari in particular seems to have a high rate as a friend who has never had a shiny either got 3 in a short space of time from the Friend Safari.
Would anyone suggest a sixth member for my team? I have:
Greninja (Timid)
Arcanine (Docile)
Gardevoir (Bold)
Aegislash (Modest)
Pangoro (Adamant)
....?
I'm aware most of the natures probably suck, I haven't been paying attention to them.
Anyway, I've been using Pikachu, but I'm thinking of switching him out. Maybe Aurorus?
Also, I just found a thunder stone, what's a good level for Pikachu to evolve?

If you use two Pokemon from different regions it increases the chance of shinies.

Anyone found an NPC who tells you which IVs are best on your pokemon?
It's about 5 times more likely to produce a shiny than encountering them in the wild. (Keep in mind the chance is still astronomically small.

Well I got two shinies myself today in the friend safari. I see GAF going crazy about not getting Shinies this time around if this theory doesn't work lol.
