How did we ever play Pokemon without Wonder Trades? I just lost an entire afternoon breeding Jolly Charmanders and Wonder Trading them away. And, man, how did I ever breed Pokemon without 100% nature-passing with the Everstone?
I think I'm at about 35 hours, with 5 badges, and this is the most fun I've had with a Pokemon game since Silver. I'm a bit disappointed with the relative scarcity of new Pokemon, but there are still enough of them that I'm making really hard decisions about spots on my team (going all new until I beat the Elite 4). I also don't think I've had as many "OMG this changes everything!" moments since Silver, either. I love this damn game.

The ability changes when it reaches it's fully evolved form, so Iron Tail is then shitty again. Also I doubt it learns it.
I'm surprised because a shiny is usually like a once-every-five-years sort of thing for me no matter how many dozens or hundreds of hours I log. I suppose that even if the odds are higher, they're still incredibly low overall so I still probably just lucked out.

Welcome to my world. I purposely rode around with super repel in that cave because of the rather lame appearances there. When it wore off in the last room the same shiny popped up in a swarm.

Flashing news (News Flash? News? Flashy news?...): once you've beaten the Elite 4, if you come back to the cavern where you got your fossil, the rocks will drop every other fossils instead of only the old amber for Aerodactyl. I have yet to confirm/infirm if every fossil is available, or if some are restricted to the X/Y version.

Not that I'm aware of - I should've been more specific. Only one entrance actually leads to the Power Plant that you're supposed to enter to progress the game. I'm willing to bet the other entrances are reserved for events.
