Wow, using online options was never so good in pokemon games. On the bottom screen I see all the time a live update of whether my friends are online/offline. When I see, that my friend is online, I can live chat with him/trade/battle. After selecting battle, it took more or less 15 second to get connected to my buddy, and after next few seconds, were were already in a battle.

They had a bunch of copies of both versions and I just grabbed one of each right now.

It's just that...I'm not a very competitive person, until I'm actually in the thick of competition. Then I get very grumpy when I lose. It's like night and day. I breed ideal Pokemon but when it comes o using them it's only once in a blue moon, when I have the confidence to actually win.

I have a Cyndaquill in my Diamond save which I'll transfer to my White copy and then eventually trough Pokébank to my X copy. So yes, you can get Cyndaquil. You can get all the starters actually.

You'll have to do it through trading. There is no way to get it in-game other than that, sadly.
