David Gergen on CNN just said something along the lines of Trump turning this into the people vs the elite, so who the hell knows how this is being spun at this point.

I think Trump's people said no to his event tonight and so he "went to the bathroom" and then ran into the elevator and went out the front.

only problem with Trump's shots at McCain was that he made it too broad so it brought in POWs in general, McCain was a complete fuckup who crashed countless planes, had no real qualifications, finished nearly last in the class and the only reason he wasn't kicked out of service was because his daddy was an admiral

then he got lucky and the commies "rescued" him after one of his many crashes and he became a "war hero"

he's an authoritarian prick who accidentally falls into the right position on issues sometimes because he's chasing media attention

and he rescued cindy from severe drug trafficking charges by pulling his congressman card

Someone posted it in the last thread, but It was a Trump supporter on twitter that had come to the realization after the first debate and Trumps behavior afterwards that they need to demand better of him.

He said Trump is losing because of just his constant behavior. He said after Obama's first debate. Dems got on his ass and he was prepared after that. He said Clintons voters pushed her into being a better candidate as well.

Trump's issue is that he goes to safe spaces. Hannity with Fox or crowds that love his rhetoric. Hell he just did a "Town Hall" that might as well have been another rally. His supporters don't demand better from him and Trump being the narcissist that he is thinks everything he does is right.

I will be very surprised if he does. As much of a battering his ego is taking from this, doing so would just be a lethal blow. He's stuck.

And even if he does, there's really no recovery at this point. There's a month left. Ballots are already going out for early voting. Votes are cast.

And then there's Trump's zealots. You really think they'd accept it?

Checking the wayback machine, he didn't have anything on the schedule after Oct 8th for a while now.
