You're probably comparing different numbers. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Democrats actually lost the early vote by party registration in 2012, but Latinos and young voters overwhelmingly register NPA (No Party Affiliation). So, I'm reading that early voting in FL is only up 32k for Dems compared to 250k in 2012. Is that true?
A little while ago Robby Mook (Clinton's campaign manager? I dunno if that's his official title) said they estimate they have about a 170k lead in Florida based on early vote, which has surged more recently as well. Case in point: More Florida Latinos have now voted early than in all of 2012, including the Election Day vote. I can't fathom Clinton's margins being smaller than Obama's, but with early vote it's mostly educated guesswork anyway since we don't see the actual results until Election Day.
Best part about Cooper winning (I mean if you had to choose): Governor's party has full control over election boards. Take your early voting restrictions and shove them up your ass, McCrory.
