Trump just posted a video about his first 100 days.

No mentions of his most controversial plans.

Pull out of TPP but will "renegotiate" trade deals (looooool good job NAFTA haters)

Cancel regulations on fracking and coal

Something stupid about every time there's one new regulation, he has to get rid of two others, for some reason that makes no sense and unnecessarily arbitrary.

Going to stop cyber attacks (LOL)

Going to look at businesses that abuse Visa programs (like your wife)

Lobbying bans that will never pass.

So he wants to pollute drinking water and cause more localized earthquakes.

Yep. Sounds like Republicans. I bet he is going to overturn Obama's ban on Arctic drilling, also.

Fuck the planet. There's money to be had right now, goddamnit.

Good thing there isn't an impending biotechnical revolution or anything like that which would create new industries that would thus require new regulations...

OH WAIT

Confused if the NY Post is running this as a "ha ha, Trump's showing them what's what" story, a "oh fuck jesus shit man this isn't what we meant," or a just a shot across the bow just to remind the administration who really controls the conversation.

Fascinating how quickly purity tests go out the window when Gabbard comes up in conversation.

I want her to get this job so bad, she actually is probably the lesser of most of those evils and it'll just pretty much end any chance she'd have at pretending to be relevant come 2020.

The Post isn't about either life. They just run with controversy. Especially in shit like this.

Almost like they're acting no different than sports fans or religious people!

Does anyone know the regulations of energy and how removing them will effect things?

I thought it might increase production, but drive down price.

And it's so telling she has pretty much all the fake issues associated with Clinton only for her they're pretty much real:

Piss poor record on gay rights, corruption accusations via a charity, ties to bad Foreign government ....

Like sorry she just actually sucks.

Apparently the artic drilling thing takes 4-5 years to even spin back up. Intentional delay of game in hopes someone more sane is in office when it comes back around.

ELiminate Net Neutrality to eliminate cyber attacks! He'll say it and probably convince the people who count (rightwing voters) that it's a good idea.

Have to get someone to primary challenge Malloy in CT. Can't lose another governor seat.

How old do you have to be to run for governor? Cause fuck it I'll do it if no one else does

WSJ also saying the media meeting was a disaster. Again, WSJ, but.

http://www.wsj.com/articles/donald-trump-to-meet-with-top-television-news-executives-1479749182

President-elect Donald Trump met with senior executives and on-air talent from the major broadcast and cable news outlets Monday afternoon at Trump Tower and used the opportunity to criticize them for their election and postelection coverage.

The off-the record gathering came amid growing tension between Mr. Trump and the media. He has often criticized both television and print news outlets, including CNN and the New York Times, and urged his supporters to be distrustful of the mainstream media.

He has also clashed with individual anchors such as Megyn Kelly of Fox News, whose questioning of Mr. Trump’s treatment of women drew his ire.

More recently there have been concerns about how committed Mr. Trump will be to the traditional access that the White House press has received while covering the president. Reporters fear their access in a Trump administration will be more limited than under previous presidents. Last week the press covering Mr. Trump were upset that he went to a dinner without alerting them, which isn't the usual protocol for a president-elect.

During the meeting, which was organized by Mr. Trump’s staff, the president-elect criticized the executives and correspondents for their election coverage and predictions that he would lose to Hillary Clinton, according to a person familiar with the gathering. The president-elect also complained about some of the postelection coverage as well but wants to wipe the slate clean, this person said.

Mr. Trump was quite knowledgeable about the ratings for many of the various networks represented at the meeting, a person briefed on the matter said. In addition, his wife, Melania. also made a cameo appearance.

Also making appearances from the Trump camp were chief strategist Steve Bannon, who has also been highly critical of the media as well as son-in-law and close adviser Jared Kushner and new chief of staff Reince Priebus.

Mr. Trump also wasn’t above some complaints that were more about vanity than substance including chastising NBC News for using an unflattering picture of him that he said made it seem as if he had multiple chins, a person with knowledge of the meeting said. An NBC spokeswoman declined to comment.

Mr. Trump’s criticism of the media goes beyond news. He has taken to Twitter to attack NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” the comedy sketch show that features Alec Baldwin doing a biting impersonation of Mr. Trump.

And politico

http://www.politico.com/blogs/on-media/2016/11/donald-trump-media-transition-tension-231727

President-elect Donald Trump on Monday told a group of about 25 television executives and anchors that he wants a “cordial” and “productive” relationship with the media, according to one source in the room, but he still aired some grievances during the off-the-record gathering in Trump Tower.

The source said the meeting started with a typical Trump complaint about the “dishonest media,” and that he specifically singled out CNN and NBC News for example as “the worst.”

He also complained about photos of himself that NBC used that he found unflattering, the source said.

Trump turned to NBC News President Deborah Turness at one point, the source said, and told her the network won’t run a nice picture of him, instead choosing “this picture of me,” as he made a face with a double chin. Turness replied that they had a “very nice” picture of him on their website at the moment.

Yeah, I'm not really sure where the assumption comes from that she or her husband are any better than her siblings.
The only difference between Jared and Ivanka and the Trump Bros. is that they're way smarter than those dipshits. They're all still opportunistic money hungry scumbags. The real difference is in brain power, not integrity.

North Carolina's Republican Governor is trying to steal the election. Suppressing African Americans wasn't enough for these guys.

North Carolina should be the biggest story in the country right now. This is unconscionable:

has calmed down a bit.
The worst thing about this election is that it made awesome moments retroactively worse.

Like that "says who" moment where the response "polls...some of them......all of them?" just loses its impact once you know the polls were wrong.

Also, we had a timeline where the first woman president does a great job of extending a worthy legacy while Trump runs an alt right entertainment empire, something BOTH persons would rather be doing right now......and we still end up on this nightmare of a reality.

I feel like you can't just write a law that says that the law isn't reviewable by the courts.

Likely just not an automatic review by the courts, it only gets kicked up when a lawsuit is brought up. Similarly to what was done with the Voting Rights Act and Roe v Wade, States are free to do what they please until a lawsuit is brought.

Also the Obama mean tweets mic drop moment.

No, I believe the law literally says it cannot be reviewed by the state courts.

I whinny my fervor lowly, for his length is not as great as those of the Hylian war stallions
Can you jump straight to a federal court?

You can file directly in federal court if a federal law is violated, or a state law is unconstitutional. (not 100% sure about the later)

President-elect Donald Trump’s search for a secretary of education has narrowed to two candidates, the school reformer Michelle Rhee and Republican megadonor Betsy DeVos, according to two people familiar with the search process.

DeVos is in most ways a conventional choice for the position: a longtime advocate of alternatives to the public school system, with close ties to many on Capitol Hill, she is closely aligned to Republican education officials like Sen. Lamar Alexander and serves on the board of Jeb Bush’s education foundation. She’s also a staunch opponent of the Common Core education initiative, which Trump often denounced at his rallies with promises of a “repeal.”

“Rationally, she’s the one that makes sense for Republicans,” said one school choice advocate who has worked closely with both DeVos and Rhee. “She’s much more aligned policy-wise. And she’s a get-things-done type person — she’s got a team of people and she can work very quickly to get a bill through.”

But Rhee may hold a strong allure for Trump, who sometimes deviates from the Republican orthodoxy in education and has embraced controversial picks in many of his early cabinet positions.

The former chancellor of Washington, DC, public schools, Rhee is an unconventional pick. She’s a former Democrat and a polarizing firebrand who made a name for herself by fighting teachers unions and advocating fiercely for the expansion of charter schools.

“If you’re just trying to send a message with your pick — if you want to say ‘fuck you’ to teachers unions — then [Rhee] is the right choice. That may be what Trump wants to do,” said the education advocate.

Rhee's husband is the Democratic mayor Sacramento!

From what I've read about Kevin Johnson (Sacramento mayor, former NBA player), a pick of his wife would be a complete disaster.

If a Democratic president nominated her, maybe. I think she's actually well to the left of what the Republican Party typically wants, unless she's drastically changed her views recently.
