No. Since the creation of superdelegates, the winner of the pledged delegates has won the nomination every time, including in cases where the pledged delegates alone were not sufficient to secure the nomination.

10k deficit is probably too much for Cruz to overcome.
Cruz is doing much better with election day voting with Rubio cratering. Much of Trump's lead is from absentees.

Absentee ballots. Nebraska allowed them and Clinton won by large margins with them. Kansas had no absentee ballots. At least that's the only thing that comes to mind that would explain the large difference.
