A "Bureaucrat" pays my 100k a year hospital bills and not just a premium they pay the whole damn thing. I hate them! Why should I have the right to free health care? Living is a luxury not a right dammit.

:lol

This train wreck is beautiful! Dead man talking...protesters...flubbed lines...idiot crowd pretending enthusiasm... no fucking way McCain wins the White House!

:lol

Right now an insurance company stands between you and your Dr. and you can only chose that Dr. if they accept that specific insurance company.

No way, she is perfect. Not too chunky and not too lean and an awesome rack. Costanza is that you?!

At least McCain hasn't been entirely negative...

This is a hilarious speech... This is a presidential candidate? I should've recorded this... I haven't been privy to this much humor in a long time.

didnt Obama say he wanted to stabilize taxes for the average person, cut taxes to bussiness who stay in the US, and increase those who take their bussiness elsewere, am I wrong?

No, you're exactly right.

edit: wait a second, did I hear him say that he wants to help teachers find another line of work? I wasn't fully paying attention

"Education is the civil rights issue of this century" :lol What?? Genocide around the world much?

I like how they cut to Palin's youngest daughter right after he said that, heh

Look at those Republicans applaud welfare!

His speech is pretty good aside from his oversimplification of Obama's positions.

It is a lot easier to get support for 'vouchers' when you just make blanket statements about 'choice'.

My advice: If you want to see something that isn't completely boring, my suggestion is to turn of Johnny Mac and just watch this again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcRA2AZsR2Q

It's cheesy. It's vague and wide-eyed. But man, wouldn't it be great if political videos were as positive as this?

"I don't want a nation just for me. I want a nation for everybody." It's such a simple, inclusive message. One that even if the current Republican party doesn't say it, is increasingly foreign to their party.

It is innuendo, it is fear tactics, it is divide-and-conquer politics. I really hate to play into this, but it's worth fighting against. I support many of the Republicans core principles, so many that at times ideologically I can favor their stances. But I cannot support the party in its current state. It is one of exclusion, killing off the better angels of our nature. The party of the fiscal conservatives has become a running joke: in every policy is a contradiction, and every speech vitriol that goes beyond mere pandering.

I really hope Obama wins, but it won't surprise me if he does not much good. I just decided it is worth taking a chance on the one who concludes it's of value to run a positive campaign, rather than a negative one that plays to people's fears.

What he fails to mention is that vouchers cover only a fraction of the cost. Of course by John's definition of 'rich' that shouldn't be a problem.

So he is going to reform education without spending any money on it?

Saying "I want teachers to answer to parents" doesn't mean anything. How the hell are you going to do it?

This is such an empty speech.

look at the faces in the crowd....

i dont want a country ran by people who attract ugly people, i kid, i kid

but man....

"we ... will ... drill.... new ... shells...off.............................................................shore"

huh
